Ambre's Ability is a Courage if I am correct ? meaning that it should only work in the first round. I have experienced numerous battles where, for some reason the opponent is boosted power in later rounds. I checked the abilities and bonuses of all the cards, and there were none that boosted power in any way. Why then did my opponent receive boosted power 3 times?!? If this is supposed to happen, then Ambre is the most OP card in the game and should be selling for ridiculous Dregn price range. I don't know if others have experienced this, but in short ; Ambre's ability was working as both a Courage and a confidence. And it was working in every round. Just thought I would ask, since it's messing with my mind.
:"Courage" is a conditional ability. It will only be activated if the character is played first in the round."
Courage is activated if the character is played first in the round, not played in the first round.
so if you are the one who gets to start the combat, courage will be active in rounds 1 and 3, and if the opponent goes first, your courage cards will be active in rounds 2 and 4 (the rounds when your character is played first)
People always confused with courage. They think courage only worked in round 1
Courage is activated when you MOVE FIRST in a ROUND (remember, there is maximum of 4 rounds in one BATTLE)
Good way to explain it, when you pick your card, and then your opp response picking their card and the animation begins. That is when courage activated
However, when your opp pick their card first and then you response picking your card after them, (and then animation begins), your courage is not active
There are 2 rounds when courage activated, round 1 & 3, or round 2 & 4 (if you move first in round 1, and then, your next chance to use courage is in round 3)
P.S: this is from my FAQ draft.. (which is from 2-3 years ago, too lazy to complete it.. now I need to add standard and extended, too lazy lol..)
Thanks for explaining. for all those of you who had only negative things to say, you really need to grow up. Everyone has to start somewhere, and frankly you aren't making the community appear too polite now are you? Anyway, thanks to Raven and Tanto for explaining.
