Hi, newish to the leveling up cards without the meter's help.
How long approximately would it take (Number of Fights) to level up characters by level?
And how long to fill up the XP Meter if anyone might know?
How big of a visible impact have the changes had/made?
Well, not just them - but they are important because they're either newbies who decide to make an investment and they are likely to want to level their cards up and use them, or people who buy lots of cards periodicaly with the same intention. These are also the people who keep the whole thing running, if they don't give money... everbody suffers. Also, if they aren't buying stuff, there's less stuff on the market, so prices go up. Also, people who were buying lots of cards off the market to level them (for whatever reason) were creating a big part of the gold drain which decreases inflation by buying and reseling otherwise useless cards. Quite a few of them were only doing it because they could earn XP wile playing and didn't actually have to spend time on it. They were harmless - there's no in game benefit to getting XP past lvl 50 and the leaders are easily obtaniable from the market anyway, but quite a few of them stopped doing it.
And then there's the people who by boosters here and there. You earn 20 creds, buy 20 creds, get a bigger booster and all that. Those are the kinda poeple who play for an hour or so daily several times per week. Having to level a bunch of stuff, if it takes half an hour, is not appealing to them at all. That's about as much time as they can allocate to UR anyway, and yet they still give money over.
This was a ridicuously stupid and dangerous move economicaly. You don't screw over paying customers or the whole thing is f***d.
And yeah, the big buyers - many people buy credis in large ammounts becaus the discount is substantial. Several titanum or many elite/new blood packs at a time. Leveling stuff in there manualy is a huge pain, and you don't do it unless there's a load of cards you actually want to score even if you're chasing rares.
I remember the times before the XP bar. A great deal fewer boosters were opened back then.
Oh, and people playing duels. If most times you log in you only play the duel, after beating kate 10 times, what you get still needs playing to become usable. It feels like you've been scammed in terms of time even though you've gained in terms of collection/clintz.
Ok, the slow leveling up thing and miniscule XP Reserve filling is definitely annoying.
But then again, I did just mass buy and invest in Sentinel and Riots so then again . . .
But, I personally usually sell at low amounts.
How much is the XP Pricing out of curiosity?
