I'm an spanish player, and I've already send MP to some admins. and e-mails to the spanish staff and nobody has answered me (my community is a bit neglected). Sorry for my english, but I needs to say this and I want to be heard, because if ELO don't change (that is to most important UR mode) a lot of people will leave the game.
The main problem of this mode is that there are a lot of 50% (9/10 games are 50%, sometimes even since R1 or R2). I don't know if staff wanted to turn ELO to what is now, or simply they haven't control the situation bringing to the game cards like clive, OP pussycats or lost damage OP cards (lola, tiwi ld, leela, marina...) but players like me who have been playing this game since years ago are feed up about this situation. Because of this, clans that have good cards are not used in ELO due to they don't have cards with high damage and/or lost damage ones (junkz for example is one of this clans. I would ban qubik and bring back fuzz to give this clan more damage, but my ELO changes I'm going to explain them now).
Here there are my ELO changes:
-all stars: I wold ban marina and bring back robb cr. Robb cr is not as OP card as few years ago because of the "Protector: Power" and "SoA" cards. Also when marina and striker are together in the same week All stars is very used and OP clan, and of course there are another two good lost damage cards that so good too, like nathan and crazy carlo. Because of this marina I think that should be banned in ELO.
-Berzerk: I see necessary the Lola's ban. I mean... ¿have you taste clive + Lola? This combination is one of the best ones of the game in my oppinion, because you have 6 free damage, and if you use berzerk with this two cards, kostner/elvis, melanie + pussycats you have a very good 50% deck. Years ago Lola wasn't as good as now, but with clive is a very OP clan.
-frozn: tiwi ld out. frozn has already got a lot of good 3* (mahimatah, between others) and two good lost damage cards (ruru and snorkar) so Tiwi Ld is no necessary now.
-junkz: I should ban qubik and would bring back fuzz because what I have said before.
-Piranas: maybe I would bring back ulrich because with the "Protection: Dmg" cards it is not as OP as years ago, but I would ban scubb, taljion, parmabarb and rekved to avoid the amount of monopiranas that are used in ELO.
-Pussycats: I don't need to say nothing about this clan. This is the most used clan in ELO now, so I would ban Diana and mina. I think that pussycats are going to keep being used in ELO without this two cards, so no problem about this two bans I think.
-Rescue: campbell could be banned, but rescue now is not one of the most annoying clans, so it is not a priority.
-Sakrohm: jautya have to be banned and bring a good 4* that could replace jautya.
-Sentinel: there are a lot of mono sentinel, so martha, john and maybe earl should be banned.
-Vortex: I think that vortex and pussycats are the most used clans, so rahi sledon and cyb lhia have to be banned.
ELO needs to change, and if we want it all of us have to contribute. So if you are agree with what I've said send this to the staff. If we do it all of us maybe we can be heard (and again sorry for my english).
It would ruin the meta.
A) Star count
B) There'd be a full swing over to mono-clan, which would mean cards like Campbell, Kerry, John, Martha, Sabia, and Pilzken (and probably Reeve/Sue as well) would get banned to shit and also every Growth card thus far would have get the banhammer (even Kagura and Dawn).
C) I can't think of a clan with 5 elo-worthy staples you can make a solid deck out of. Let alone one that wouldn't overlap and create redundancies.
D) 5 is a prime fucking number and 4 isn't. 4 is divisible by 2, factors into 12, and is generally nice and fun to play with. Fuck the number 5.
Point D is such a stupid point I'd be embarrased to even say it sarcastically. I can argue the exact opposite of OPGs view using exactly the same logic: everyone knows that only the 1st 3 rounds of a battle matter, and 3 is a prime number too, ie atm a prime number of rounds matter: increasing the number of rounds per battle to 5 would mean we have 4 (not a prime number) of rounds actually impact each game. Add to that many mathematicians love prime numbers, so wether prime numbers are good or not is disputable, renders D irrelevant
Point C: you obviously haven't thought very hard...

this is only a small portion of the clans that have 5 or more staples
Point A: star count is not really relevant, you could either increase deck requirements to 10 cards, 31*s to keep the average at just above 3*s per card, or keep it at 8 cards, 25*s
Point B: the only issue with 5 rounds, but mono dominates even nowadays so not really that important either
Anyway, the idea of 5 rounds has already been labeled as not something the thread writer wants talked about any more on his thread, so
