I want you to rate my preset, green, yes. But I would've just posted this in the preset thread if I didn't also want to talk about the direction of the game.
It seems like there's been a lot of power creep lately, right? And with the appearance of Raptors added to that fact most of us, I think, are seeing a shift away from attack manipulation.
Which is too bad for me because I've always been an attack manipulation kinda guy. But I think this deck here is the deck of the future. Small to medium amounts of "guaranteed" damage (meaning... Markus doesn't have high damage for his star value, but he is a hard MOFO to beat, and DR abilities at least don't effect him,) meets "guaranteed" reductions (meaning... obviously SoA clan DRs are some of the most potent in the game. All stops play their part... and now we have another sort of 'reduction' thrown into known as "Cancel Opp ____"
I mean if you play Murray then I play Ryujin. If you play Oxo then I play Yookie. If you play Oshitsune then I play Markus.
I see the game going away from all or nothing round 1's and shifting towards 3 or 4 pills spread evenly across 4 rounds. I'd just like to ask you all what you think: 1) Do you agree that this is where it's heading? 2) Do you think it is a good thing? 3) Do you like my deck? 4) What clan/combination is a good counter against this?? 5) Say anything (relatively on topic,) that you would like to include in this conversation.
Each clan has it counters or can be fighted.
I mean Flanagan, Irene, Romana, Petra...there are enough attack manipulqting cards that can handle raptors. And What is when your Ryujin will never face a Murray and Murray faces Rattle/Annie for a gap of 5 (with only 1-2 more pillz)? So it is Not only the deck. It is also the Person Who play it.
Idk If the opp will play Oshi First when you can all Stop him.
Yeah you're right about the Oshi thing I was just giving random examples. And yes I know it is always dependent on the players... the skill and indeed the luck. But I was just asking if these combined factors (remembering the power creep,) marked a shifting away from attack manipulation clans.
