I'm wondering a great deal about this clan.
They are overall Extremely solid in the Meta, they have a habit of resisting lots of top decks and played cards that you see, they pierce DR well and have a large number of playable options in the 2* and 3* and 5* region .
My curiosity however;
Does anyone else feel they are pushing the brim of deserving a hit?
I wouldn't like to see Fiddler get hit because he is a weaker version of Graven (COB is a bit worse than solid -9 opp attack) and Lola seems like a likely candidate.
Anyways, I think Berzerk also could use a more defensive 2* as the clan lacks the most in the 2* department.
Table Salt :
What do they need?
What should get hit?
Should they get hit?
Will I get killed by a vengeful hawk at work? (Nature Preserve job)
I think Glorg is still a relevant card but only in specific set ups rather than being a staple anymore, the fact is his 6 power is a massive problem when most staples are 7-8 power, couple that with his heavy star count and damage and losing with him is losing a pivotal high damage card. If we compare to the most similar card Leviatonn, losing with him isn't as bad since he's only your 3* and you'll likely have a 4* that can threaten with high damage. Glorg on the other hand is the 4* with heavy damage slightly diminishing his ability to just wall threats, for example you wouldn't just throw Glorg against an opposing Tremorh to shut down the ability but you would with Leviatonn
Sukareto is simply more threatening and harder to deal with IMO, whilst she is walled by DR she's a very difficult card to read and counter
Berzerk is peppered all over from the 900's to 1300's Jazz Funk . . .
But then again. . .meh ?
Glorg . . . people might say he isn't power creeped wats_happenin but his base stats for a 4* and the fact that he simply isn't that easy to be ' disposable ' unlike Sukareto who can block 2 damage and the fact that there are 2* and 3* who can take the fall so to speak. Glorg is just weighed down with the burden of needing to win, 6 Power for a 4* and competition.
As far as the idea of high damage gaps for 2* 's and 3*'s ? I disagree.
I see LOTS of utility 2* and 3* cards springing up and seeing play more than the gappers.
In fact, most clans don't have a huge, reliable nuke for 2* or 3* area. In fact, the opposite; the days of cards like Jautya who can be held until last second is leaving ELO bit by bit thankfully.
@jazz that's bcoz it's not as op as you think it is.. xd
except for lola factor(ofc it's a factor).
For me i prefer.playing AS over zerk since they gaps almost same and as has ko possibilities..
Look at as cards..
Striker -6 damage
Jessie-4 gapping for 2 star
mulligan -6 gapping
crazy carlo-7 gapping
Karen-excellent for soa weeks At cost of 3 *.
Same can be said about ulu too..
Their gapping is also very good..
That's why u see less zerks in top players decks..
Fiddler is however a different twist to story..
I like playing Berzerk because of a half deck I like to use that revolves around Konrad and all the defeat/damage reducers I used.
Somewhat viable but mostly gimmicky.
As is considered good because of all the solid/6-7 life gapping cards they got for only 3 stars.
Elvis and Striker are similar and Nathan and Lola as well.
Its that bonus though that makes Roger deemed balanced and Saki deemed broken in elo AND toury.
Pretty sure its the bonus and pretty solid power that makes All star good along with their good damage 4-6 gap and how most strong 3 stars have only 3 damage to make up for their bonus. (also in FPC/La Junta/Frozn)
Its also likely the reason why most of the strong 5 stars in Bezerk are 6 damage and not 7 or 8 (because they are afraid they will become broken if given any more damage (dat k0 potential ect.).
Berzerk are arguably the most stable clan in ELO atm. They have counters for many of the popular cards such as Blaaster, Rattle, Oshitsune and they are strong against DR.
Berzerk and Jungo aren't going anywhere because of their stability and they both pair well with many different half decks. Not to mention Berzerk has a ton of high-powered cards.
No, Sukareto must not be flushed !!!
For once in a while the Nightmare clan has risen out of Mediocrity .
Frankly, I think she is . . . well, ONLY broken when Oshitsune is free to tag team with her.
Otherwise, she's the only reliable 4* to replace Oshitsune when he is in Naughty Card Jail .
