Think about it. A new player joins and realizes that there are a crapload of new blood missions he can't do, a bunch of past Ld missions he can't do, a bunch of DM missions he can't do, and a few missions that are tacked on to Cr cards (Tan Man, etc.)
No chance of ever catching any of the older players...
Sorry, but I had to split that up. Stupid 1 500 character limit >_>
And then you have the Lds. Most Lds have their own missions that give you 5 credits. I honestly think that's just fine. It gives you an incentive to get said Ld. The Lds are unique, one-of-a-kind cards that you have to really work for. 5 credits, IMO is just fine for their missions. However, when Chopper Ld was released, they gave 30 credits for his mission. I honestly think illicit drugs were involved there...
New Blood missions are just a stupid idea. Sure, they want people to get said cards and give us rewards for getting the cards, but the mission rewards aren't worth it except the rare ones. Something should honestly be done about this. I'm not gonna say that the 10 credits for the rare card is bad, but it's the only one that's even worth the effort.
Which brings me to my final point: The Ld missions were great. They gave us something to look forward to every other week. But giving us 10 credits for the missions was overkill. They weren't overly complicated missions. They were easy, simplistic...Just a few hours would get us what we wanted. I fully understand why they ditched the Ld missions, but that doesn't mean I like it. Maybe they could have done 5 creds instead?
Completely forgot to complain about the stupid Rb missions. They give missions to ridiculous characters that are already overpriced and become even more overpriced when they get missions. If you look at the cards needed to obtain the Rb for "free," you're paying more for the cards. I can kind of understand this as it makes it actually worth completing the missions (the price of the card will hover around and find a place to rest for a bit of time...Namely the amount of time it takes for the missions to expire...After that, the price will go up.) But it's only after these missions expire that the missions actually become worth it. This is a natural deterrent for anyone to complete said missions, especially people who are impatient for prophet and/or have no means of obtaining the ridiculous cards they give missions to.
