I thought on this couple times cause this is kinda problem...
almost ANY PLAYER in urban rivals thinks that rescue should be played just mono-clan.
but let's think a minute about their bonus:
support: +3 attack
it means that if you get 2 cards of them they will get +6 attack. it is worse then sentinal and junkz but you can handle with it.
if you get 3 of them they wil get +9 attack. this is better then sentinal and junkz.
and if they are full hand (4 of them) they will get +12 attack- very good advantage of pillz.
i think we should start play them as unmon clan- helf deck.
we can try them as a helf deck...so make your deck and post it here!
When i was first starting out, i had a rescue half deck with slyde lea, larry, and anita, together with a uppers half deck of frankie hi, rubie, samantha, and zlatar and this was because i was too poor to make anything else. I must say that half rescue is the best to start building your deck with, from starter, but its nowhere as consistent as mono clan is. So... use rescue half deck if you dont have 8 rescue cards.
I have won multiple tournaments using a Rescue decks and the +12 is what makes different from win or loss stiuations.
When you goe up aganist attack reducers like Uppers they still get +2 attack. When going against montana the bonuses just cancel out.
Also most of the Rescues cards depend on each other. Marco, Larry, Alec would greatly depend on the support of the other Rescues in your hand.
So in my opinion Rescue are only good in mono-clan. Also remember in elo every attack point counts
>.> resists saying single is mono... oh wait, still typed it.
As sad as it is, Rescue's abilities just don't stand up by themselves in a half deck. I have yet to fight against a Rescue half deck and lose. If you look at all the clans the ones with strong bonus like rescue have either weak abilities or weak damage. To make a good half dack you need strong abilies to cover up if you draw them solo with no bonus. They are built to mono the only characters that should ever be run with them are Hugo and Eyrik.
