Imperator - The Saiyans
We've already told you that we were going to see how things would be going with the secret voting system about possible changes in ELO mode. And that's exactly what we’ve done.
Firstly, we’ve decided to leave the voting system as it is. It works well and should work even better in the future with characters banned thanks to votes.
We've checked voting results and the most frequently played characters in ELO stats.
We've decided to permanently ban 5 characters: Kolos, Marco, Zatman, Hawk and Ratanah.
Kolos is permanently banned because it was obvious that you did not want him in ELO any more. He’s been banned nearly every weeks since the voting system release and we thought it was pointless to keep on using your votes against him.
Marco, Zatman, Hawk and Ratanah have also been frequently banned by your votes so we thought that these permanent bans would offer a fairer game.
Admittedly Ratanah was banned less often than Shakra but we calculated that her ban would greatly help in reducing the Roots' dominance while still making them playable. Whereas Shakra’s ban would have left the Roots with very strong chances of building powerful half-decks for a reasonable amount of stars.
We didn’t want to ban any All Stars or Piranas (Smokey or Striker, for example) even if they were concentrating a large part of votes. We figured out you would be more free to vote and decide by yourselves which characters need to be remove from ELO.
Have fun !

Yayoi is much more broken than Hawk. Yayoi is a Jackie with 1 less power. She deserves to be permanently staff banned much more than Hawk.
In Elo I lose every single game against her, 7 / 6 SoA with - 2 damage gives my opponents a huge advantage.

I think you have pretty much banned Smokey and Striker as votes will be used against them that were previously used against the newly banned cards.

Not sure if want >_>
On one hand, elo is far to competitive an enviroment to leave a game to chance as much as it does with Kolos, so it's nice to see him removed from it completely. The Ratana and Zatman bans are sensible enough too.
It's the other two that are grinding me. Marco, not so much, because Rescue have plenty of high-star cards. It will result in seeing more of the same decks though, because I considered Sledg and Marco on par with one another.
Hate the Hawk ban though. It's broken the backs of mono sentinel decks, seen as he was their only reliable 5*. Copper and Havoc just aren't up to the metagame's standard when it comes to investing so many stars.

Colossus - URBAN MADNESS
What did I say?
"By the way - Nightmare is going to get a new 5 * card! They need a replacement for Kolos"
And there it is - Ghumbo!

I dont really get the point of this.... from now on, chars that usually were banned from time to time, will always be banned since theres no alternative for the voters. the result is that for example striker will be absolutly dead in the next time additionally the markets prices , which anyway were absolutly down because of the booster rush the alec cr announcement caused, will fall down again, leavin an absolutly destroyed market...
I think this really had a bad timing, you could have waited for the market (especially the "action-market" to recover, there was no need for more pricelowering steps at the moment.

I was sort of disappointed to see Ratanah leave because that means that Shakra is going to be banned a lot more, but if the end result is having Charlie banned? It's all worth it in my opinion
