Here are all the cases where - power is better than + power, and vice versa.
- The amounts of pills your opponent puts is more than yours, as he will lose (manipulation) attack per pill.
- The opponents power is less than yours before calculating any abilities, as long as you put less or an equal amount of pills as your opponent.
- The amounts of pills you put is more than your opponent, as you will gain (manipulation) attack per pill.
- The opponents power is more than yours before calculating any abilities, as long as you put more or an equal amount of pills as your opponent.
I think you are thinking about in case you and your opp have same power or higher??
striker and jackie (no uppers bonus) means same power, 6
lucia and jackie (no uppers bonus) means same power, 8
but what happen if your opp has lower power than those 2 cards? (striker and lucia in this case)
Okay, I'll explain as easily as posible.
When you have the Bonus -2 Opp Power, Minimum 1, the attack your opponent will lose is 2 + Pillz he plays. That means that the more pillz he plays, the more Attack he will lose.
When you have the Bonus +2 Power, the attack you will gain is 2 + Pillz you play. That means that the more pillz you play, the the Attack you will gain.
Also, the rate at witch you will gain or your opponent will lose attack is the same. For example, if you have 6 power, you will gain 2 Power per Pill, or +33% per Pill. If you lose Power and originally have 6, it's still -2 per Pill, or -33% per Pill.
With that explained, we can take very clear examples witch will have two equally strong cards, but one with - 2 Power and one with + 2 Power. This is Blaaster versus Striker. Strikers SoA prevents Blaasters ability from working, and both Bonuses are activated. As anyone would understand, it would be a tie if both players pilled equally.
Now, what you are saying is that Strikers bonus is better than Blaasters, let's check. Okay, now we will assume that Blaasters bonus is not activated, and both players put 5 Pills on their cards. Blaasters damage will be 24, while Strikers will be 36. Striker have lowered Blaasters attack with 50%.
Now, imagine what would happen if Strikers Bonus wouldn't be activated and oth player would put five Pills. Blaasters attack would be 48, and Strikers 36. This time, Blaasters attack is 50% higher.
Assuming your Striker is up against someone else, this difference will vary depending your opponent power. Striker vs Rubie is a good example. Rubies power would be decreased with about 60%. If both players put 5 Pills now, Striker will have an attack of 36, and rubie 18 attack. That's double the attack!
In Blaasters case, the attack of Rubie would be 30, and Blaaster 48. That's not double! In this case, Strikers ability was more efficient.
This doesn't work in any situation, but I don't have time to list anything else right now.
I can't believe striker got banned. He sucks vs SOB and there are many cards in other clans that are better. First off do people remember the release that put allstars on top? Jessie, they weren't played much at all before her release. While striker is good it is cards like Marina, Jessie that keep the allstars on top. Striker can lose to ANY card with 8 base power and drawn without his bonus only has 6 power. On top of that striker is effected by +/- atk a lot more then a card with 8 base power. In fact striker is just a 4* Noodile and Noodile never gets banned...... despite noodile having higher base power, more stability and Noodile is useable at 1*, 2* and 3* ! Striker is just noodile with 2 more dmg at the cost of an extra star. So noodile must be insanely overpowered if striker is. And for those of you who think striker's help is the reason he is banned..... then vote to ban those cards that are more important to the clan like Jessie and Marina. Striker is a good card... but not overpowered at all.
I am sorry, I am totally confused
not about the topic, but how you write it
to make it simple
do you accept that - power is different than + power or not? (when you see -2 power striker can beat rubie (without uppers bonus) easier than blaaster (+2 power))
