Hey guys, can you write here, how many battles you make in tourney? I did 22 in the last one, got 430 points and went 11th, what is kinda success for me being Guru lvl 28.
Furthermore, there were these 6 EVO guys in top 10, that use this little "cheating" way of scoring in tourney...
Ok, so i tried playing normally during a tourny (ie. not evo). i didnt used the best deck and didnt really try to play as fast as i would if i was trying to win the tourny....i got 402 pts from 20 battles, which is a loss of 92 points from two different styles of play - placed 24th
Well, i guess the only real way to make the systems even, would to have EVO reduced to 2 points per card leveled, like Pillz are 2 points per pill to a maximum of 5, same should apply to leveling cards.
now, maybe i'm just saying...
but it's still taking advantage of the system, be it Technically cheating or not.
Actually no they don't because EVO players especially during tournament rarely would use a 5-star in thier deck. They get good score not just because they are beating 5 stars but also because thier star count is low and the point of the play style which is leveling cards.
For instance Sven has the following cards in his hand Tatane,Otome,Natrang and Gina Glint. All the Fang-pi cards are just level one and are about to evolve. Gina is a level two. Thier total star count is just 5. The points for winning will be 25-5 which is 20 pts already. And the fact that three cards will evolve means a plus 10-15 for him. And if the cards that his opponents use are higher than him he might recieve 4-10 pts. That means he can have around 30 -45 pts if he wins. But if he lose he still able to get 17-28 pts. My computation might not be that accurate but it is close to that.
Ok so my scores are as below:
Today at 12:00 ..you crushed tonio50 (10-0) - you received : 23 points and 7 clintz
Today at 11:57 ..you beat Gtorres24 (9-3) - you received : 26 points and 5 clintz
Today at 11:50 ..you beat Allezsedan (5-0) - you received : 31 points and 7 clintz
Today at 11:46 ..you beat AsiaVietdu10 (6-0) - you received : 30 points and 7 clintz
Today at 11:42 ..you narrowly escaped from cLECHIFFRE (9-7) - you received : 25 points and 5 clintz
This i would say would be very similar to the points i get when EVOing...so its not that great a difference. If you are a good player, you can win with any style...like 0LET_QJON who used to play EVO and now isnt...he stills owns tournys
Ok, let's agree, there is only slight advantage of using EVO in tourneys... for instance, I started to play this game 2 weeks ago, I don't practice EVO at all, and still I scored 4 times in top 25... so obviously, standard non-EVO tactics can also work...
but my question still would be, do you think EVO is faster way of playing? or again, how many battles you manage per tourney?
Yeah i agree, EVO is a slightly better way of scoring points, and requires less thinking
Um...hmmm...i believe EVO is definitely slower because you always have to play four rounds instead of 2-3 rounds in some non-EVO games.
Um...i managed (this time non-evo again) 19 battles and got 466 points. If i had played faster....i may have got more
