Ok I'm confused... Why is the chat function only available AFTER a match?
Seems to me like either a) in DTs nobody has time between matches to chat in their hurry to get to the next match, and b)in matches that are NOT DT, I usually say something and very few ppl respond at all. From my experience, when somebody DOES respond, I don't even get their responses til a match or two later.
Wouldn't it make more sense to be able to chat with someone on their turns DURING a match? Also seems like you could make more friends that way, make the whole UR community more cohesive.
Well, the chat option really was meant for friends who wants to battle again, not for bypassers, if you want to make friend,
a) join a guild
b) be on the message board often and reply with helpful info to everyone who asks for it
c) sponsor someone and you'll have a chance to be his friend
Yeah, chats during matches *could* lag up a game, if implemented incorrectly. That's why I suggested being able to chat only during the opp's turn.
The way it's set up now, since so many are so quick to jump into the next match, you don't get responses til 1-3 matches later; by then, it's hard to remember what that match entailed anyway.
I dunno what TCG-la0o9 means by 'bypassers', but it seems like it could add an extra element of head games with an opp as well during a match (though even I admit UR really doesn't need MORE head games lol).
I'm not complaining, though; as it is, I think UR is the best online CCG out there.
