I created an ELO deck which I plan to use once I get past 1400 this week.
It's Roots / Ulu Watu and includes three 5 star cards: Shakra, Hikiyousan, and Lulabee
I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on the deck and maybe start a philosophical discussion about using decks with a high total star draw variance.
With three 5 star cards in a deck it is very likely that on any given draw one would get at least one of the 5 star cards. Along with two damage reducers and plenty of SOA (Roots), I think this deck will perform pretty well at the highest level of competition.
Not too sure about this, having only one 5 star will make you VERY VERY predictable with this deck...
also, drawing arno jeena noodile nanook or taigo will land you a virtual auto-loss.
plus, two of your 5's are only 6 damage, which means 2 of your other cards MUST win as well, in order for you to KO. badddd odds.
It all depends on how you play, if you can win most of the 87.5% of the games that you get a 5*, you could fairly easily.
But considering this deck relies on the 5*s you must consider less orthodox ways of playing. Like if you get Arno Shakra Nanook and Taigo you start with a Taigo semi-bluff (1 or 2 pillz), counter a probable bluff (because of Shakra not being fully powered) with Nanook. Than, depending on how many pillz your opp has, semi-bluff with Shakra. Followed up with a furious Arno .
You will need to utilize Arno's high damage because of the low damage of the other fillers.
I personally have never liked using semi-evos but that may just because I have been stuck with 1* Lilith .

Have you ever heard of damage reducers??? Let me give you a quick pointer. Constructing an ELO deck for 2HKOs is a fool's errand.
I'm just saying, its not very likely you'll be winning 3-4 fights within each game every time, which means your fillers don't have enough damage to support imo.
then again all elo decks play differently than they would on paper, share your results at the end of the week please.
