Chapter 1: Take Action
(Following Story 1, Chapter 3) http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&subject_page=0&id_subject=1142709
After the failed alien invasion of the Skeelz Academy and Randy’s “Kidnapping”, the sakrohm aliens had taken off in a spaceship.
Loma Noju and Frank were to be taken to a secret chamber and purged of their memories of the incident. Then they were told to vacate the premises. They did as they were told but they couldn’t help feeling something was odd. The rookie skeelz pupils were also vacated; told to find a safe place to stay.
Thanks to Anton’s tactical genius, he’d developed a team of students and a plan to go after and capture the aliens in a matter of minutes.
Caelus had already had taken off with Liam and Jessica on their broomsticks after Anton had finished. Caelus knew of Liam’s abuse of power. While he didn’t possess those powers himself, you could say he had eyes everywhere. He was glad to know that Liam could be serious when necessary. Thanks to Liam’s time warping abilities, they had almost caught up to the spaceship.
A little later, the aliens had noticed. They charged a blast and fired it at the team but caelus deflected it with a bit of magic. Then the aliens had opened rapid fire at the skeelz team. Caelus used his magic to create a magical rift, in which the ammunition was stored. When the firing stopped, Caelus returned their own fire back at them but the sakrohm were ready with the ship’s shield.
Chapter 2: Penetrating the Shield
With that failed attempt, the sakrohm continued their assault. Because of Liam’s powers, the sakrohm were never fast enough to catch the skeelz team by surprise. Liam’s mana would eventually run out if he went full forced so he had to increase the speed of the action.
The spaceship had begun to increase in altitude and the skeelz would soon be leaving the Earth’s atmosphere. Even with their magic, they wouldn’t be able to last too long with no oxygen.
“Let us try professor” Jessica had told him. The two split up from the professor and combined powers. They attempted to get close enough to the ship as Caelus took the punishment.
They had just begun to leave the ozonosphere and now the sun’s heat was getting to them. Eventually they left the Earth’s atmosphere and were running out of air. Caelus grabbed a huge chunk of space debris with a magical tractor beam and chucked it as hard as he could into the sakrohm ship, completely destroying its shield.
“You’re free to enter the ship” As caelus finished that sentence, he was shot down by the sakrohm’s weapons. “Professor!” Jessica cried. They saw him lose his balance on the broomstick and fall behind.
Still invisible and swift, Jessica cast a spell that broke through a tiny little piece of the ship’s hull. They entered the ship through it.
Chapter 3: The Fight Goes On
(Following story 1, chapter 61)
The spider tank closed in on Dacote, and all he could do was back down. With the touch of a button, the tank retracted two fang-like guns and began firing at Dacote. Dacote fired back, naturally, with no luck.
On its abdomen, another TV screen turned itself on, and it showed Dr. Sigmund laughing evilly. Dacote shot at the screen just to stop the annoying laughter as the spider tank grew closer and closer to him. Dacote was almost backed into the wall. He’d have to think of something quick.
He looked up and saw where the Dr. was perched on top of the spider tank, enclosed in some safety glass. He tried to fire at the Dr. but the tank reacted too quick and protected him. The Dr. pressed another button on his control panel and the guns became flamethrowers.
As long as Dacote had space between him and his enemy, he’d continue firing. He watched his back as he paced himself backwards. Then… he knew he had ran out of space as he felt the wall touch his back. The tank’s fangs lunged at Dacote, as if to stun him but he was too quick for that and dodged it easily. It made a hole as it forced itself out of the wall.
Not wasting any time, Dacote ran for the other side, where the spider tank first came out of. But it looked to be so far away. Could he make it?
Chapter 4: Escape from the lair
The tank was fast, but Dacote was faster. The Dr. fired shots off at Dacote with no luck.
The Dr. was charging up a power shot while Dacote was running towards what looked to be a mine. Dacote saw an elevator. Where it led to was unknown to him, but he just knew the tank wouldn’t be able to follow him up it, at least not before he was safe.
Dacote fired back anyways, but he didn’t look back. Until he got to the elevator. He then pressed an up button, got on the platform and fired his retractable blade right into the Dr’s window, impaling him through his right shoulder.
The blade couldn’t reach that far with Dacote holding the gun, so he let it go and it sprang on the Dr. Dacote was worried without his gun, but he had been trained for hand-to-hand combat.
The natural reaction of getting impaled would be to wince in pain, and that’s what the Dr. did. Unfortunately for Dacote, it released the charge shot and a huge blast of force came at Dacote.
The elevator was already going up, and by the time the shot got there, Dacote was already safe. He just felt the impact of the shot on the wall. The platform was shaky and it felt like an earthquake just hit.
He lied down on the platform and rested his eyes. That fight took a lot out of him and the way up seemed to take a while. When he opened his eyes, he saw two shadows on the platform floor. He then looked up.
Chapter 5: The Archeologists
Robb and Eyrton were waiting for him. Dacote looked around. The place looked like an ancient temple or shrine of some sort.
When Dacote finally made it up, Robb grabbed hold of him. “Where is it, what did you take?!” Robb asked him. “Where is what?” Dacote asked, then got dropped by Robb. Eyrton shook his head, with a look that said “Wrong answer”.
Dacote got up and punched Robb back. Now he was on the ground. “Got a problem punk?” Dacote asked him. Before things escalated, Eyrton stepped in between them. “Fellas, there’s no need to fight.” He said to them both while separating them. Then he spoke to Dacote. “We’re archeologists, we’ve been here looking for any ancient artifacts and we haven’t been able to find anything of value. And my partner, well, he doesn’t like to work with no instant rewards. He’s just tired, you understand”
Dacote explained he had no time to be there. He claimed he saw nothing of value and to “keep that psychopath away from me”. He went outside of the temple where he finally got a signal to contact his la junta buddies. He called for a chopper, gave his coordinates as best he could. Then waited back with Robb and Eyrton.
They were arbitrarily picking up stone pieces and making it look like they were studying them. Dacote knew something weird was going on, but he just didn’t care. The chopper came a bit later to pick him up. And when Dacote left, the “archeologists” went to explore what was down the elevator.
Chapter 6: Exploration
They just picked a button at random and went down. There were lots of other junctions Dacote could’ve came from when they checked it all out on the way down. At one point they heard a creak, they saw a place to get off, right where Dacote came from (it was the only place with a person lying next to a spider tank) and jumped off when the elevator started to slow down. If they had been there any longer they might’ve fell into an abyss; the platform gave way.
There was no light in the lobby and Robb and Eyrton were not going to ask questions. Strynge and vryer were helping some midget (mini mund) pull a blade from out of his shoulder. The all stars wasted no time and ran up on the gheist members. Strynge looked back and reacted by forcing the gun/blade out of mini mund’s shoulder and shot the blade at Robb. Robb reacted quickly by transforming one of his darts into a metal bat. He swung it back at mini mund and he died on impact.
Vryer and strynge ran towards Eyrton. Eyrton did a mid-air split kick and knocked them both out. Robb and eyrton ran out of the lobby and into the drill room where dacote first confronted Vryer and strynge. They tried to close the dorr but it wouldn’t shut. Vryer and strynge were coming to. “Get out of the way” Robb told Eyrton and swung his bat at the controls on the side of the room. The door shut just as the gheist made their way to it.
Chapter 7: Deep venture
The drill was still operating. They looked across the room to the passageway Dacote took to get here, running from the V2s and almost getting trapped by the closing wall.
Then they heard banging on the walls. They gave each other looks. “Maybe you should check it out, I’ll stay here and hold them back if they get through” Robb said. Eyrton nodded and went off, robb watching him go.
Robb looked at the control panels. He added another dart into his bat, the dart became liquefied, then the bat did. But then it multiplied, separated itself and hardened into two razor sharp blades.
The pounding at the door continued and robb sliced right through the door, almost stabbing strynge. The door stuck to his blades and Robb threw it right across the room, along with the gheist. “STAY OUT OF MY WAY!” Robb bellowed.
Eyrton took his time as he walked the length of the stone corridors, careful to not miss any secret passageways as he was looking for the entrance to the place Asporov was talking about. If it wasn’t in the temple they came from, they must’ve been a few feet off.
He ran back when he reached the dead end. When he got to the drill room, he looked across the room to see the door opened. He half expected to see robb getting beat down in the room but wasn’t too surprised to see the mangled bodies of strynge and vryer. He looked to his left. There was a small opening in the wall that wasn’t there before and the drill was stopped. He went in.
