You must have noticed a big change it the battle room list...
A new game mode has appeared in Urban Rivals: Deathmatch mode.
We wanted to offer you a kind of super fast mini DT with a limited number of players.
The DM points rules are different with several tricks inspired by Modern Warfare 2 => persecution, revenge, serial victories, etc.
It's still a beta for the moment. The goal is to do a sort of "life size" test and see how it goes, what would be relevant to add in the ranking, etc.
Know glitches :
We have noticed that there was the grey screen glitch in the flash if you expire while selecting your pillz. Just refresh the page.
It will be fixed very soon.
Complete rules, rankings, messages in the feed, special missions, division system to group players together according to their level.
Please, share your thoughts and opinion (no off-board posts please)
Well I just think it's annoying to play decks that are the same, i.e Uppers or Sakrohm (not sure why) or decks to counter them. I like to be able to use all characters without penalties.
I think this would be a fair solution to spread out the clans more. Maybe the most played characters will have a cost to your win. So if you win 1-4th place you get 95% of what you should get so that the DMs aren't only the same characters. The staff found ideas for elo I'm sure there could be a solution to be made here.
I think a far better idea than a ban list would be a penalty list. At the end of the day the 20 most used cards in winning hands would be given a -4 point penalty in Deathmatch Mode. This penalty stacks, so if for a second day in a row a card like Jackie is one of the top 20 most used cards she would have a -8 penalty. Any day that a card with a penalty was not one of the top 20 most used cards its penalty would lessen by 2. Still using Jackie as my example on day 3 she wasn't one of the top 20 most used cards on day 4 her penalty would only be -6.
If you draw a hand with 4 cards that were all -4 points, your total points for that match would be -12, which is significant. Rather than banning a card entirely it would allow each individual player to make their own decision on how good a card was, versus how much of a penalty it had. It would encourage the use of lesser played clans like Freaks, because chances are none of their cards would ever get a penalty just based on how infrequently the clan is played.
Offhand I think this is the easiest and most fun way of creating deck diversity in this particular match type.
That's not BP earned, that's just points towards your final score. If you make it to the top 3, you win a few BP N very little clintz.
So far it's just a really cheap version of a DT, but one that allows doubles? I just faced a guy with 2 dorians, 1 jackie N 1 zatman so idk.
If you own doubles of those ownage cards, it's just a place to feel big N special N get rewarded nothing for being a bully
Errr terrible math on my part, if you had 4 cards that were all worth -4 points in a hand you would get -16 to your points total at the end of of the match regardless if you win or lose, not -12. But regardless you get the idea.
