You must have noticed a big change it the battle room list...
A new game mode has appeared in Urban Rivals: Deathmatch mode.
We wanted to offer you a kind of super fast mini DT with a limited number of players.
The DM points rules are different with several tricks inspired by Modern Warfare 2 => persecution, revenge, serial victories, etc.
It's still a beta for the moment. The goal is to do a sort of "life size" test and see how it goes, what would be relevant to add in the ranking, etc.
Know glitches :
We have noticed that there was the grey screen glitch in the flash if you expire while selecting your pillz. Just refresh the page.
It will be fixed very soon.
Complete rules, rankings, messages in the feed, special missions, division system to group players together according to their level.
Please, share your thoughts and opinion (no off-board posts please)
Wow, just got annihilated by the infamous time-out glitch.
It seems it had something to do with the actual 20 min tourney time as it occurred just when we had like a minute left till next "Warm Up".
Are we being forced to finish our battles within the 20 minute allotted time? Can't the "Warm Up" session be a bitty longer to prevent the time to rush in last battles?
I understand this is in beta and love to see the final outcome.
"DerMagus is persecuting XXX -6 points". ... for me? why? Because I got the same opponent again after using the quick-selector 5 times without success? o_O Seems a bit...silly. Punishing people for something they have absolutely no influence on? (A quick text on what "special points" there are would be nice, even without numerical value and open to change).
So far I know:
- bonus points for winning in a row
- bonus points for losing in a row (which is quite a good idea, imho. Encourages to keep it going!)
- minus points for facing the same player twice. (!?)
DerMagus, that was my problem except with me I played 4 matches or so with the same person so I got -6 for the second time and -10 each for the next two rounds. That totals to -26. That set me back a whole match beyond someone else, allowing me to lose by a single point.
