I apologize in advance if i offend anyone by this, but does it take any skill to play type 2???I mean, what is the strategy and purpose of type 2?It seems like everyone just throws together the best 5 stars of each clan and runs with it.It just seems....well...it seems like a satisfying game play for those people who like to be over powered and use it as an excuse to call it fun(ego driven fun). So, if anyone would like to clear the air so i could have some understanding,if not appreciation, for type 2 players.Because as of right now, my views are quite negative.
It's because you don't have the right deck for it and ppl take advantage of it
Go into type 2 with heavy DRs, pill manipulation, SOA, deadly poison... one, 2, 3 or all of these (however THAT goes :weird and then try to come back and complain about it
I like to use mostly 3* and 2* cards (onyl the strong ones. Chiara/Lehane etc etc)
Then bac them up wit 1 or 2 5* cards
I find i get 30+ points every battle cause i beat their high star cards with low star cards
Do that.. its fun wen tey lose with Kolos/kenny/Azgroth and Oshitsune agianst my Chiara/ Sasha/ Redra and Sandro
Yes, it does take skill to play Type 2 format games. Granted ELO requires a bit more pre-planning, but in the end it all comes down to knowing the games, quick calculation, and trusting your instincts. You seem to have come into this looking to argue more than you'd like to actually be educated, but believe you me: Type 2 is no walk in the park.
Actually, i was trying real hard to watch my tone.As i have stated, i am quite negative about type 2, but my intentions were pure.i wanted to be educated. Everyone's type 2 presets contain 7-5 stars and 1-4 star.Just looked like it didn't take much thought to grab your best cards and run into combat.I'm a strategist so ELO is more my fashion.
But thanks to all that replied. I suppose it takes one to try to truly find out. If anyone has anything else to add, handle it. This thread will be deleted otherwise
T2 definately requires skill, probably more than T1 because of the amount of high star cards. In T1, you can often let a card through, only recieving small damage, in T2, even small damage can end in a 2 HKO. Then you've got the balance to that with the massive DR's, to counter them you've got SOA and so on. T2 is much more dangerous in that regard. I don't know if you watch MMA but its a similar principal, you have the lower weight classes that strike alot or use technical ability and often fight for most of the rounds, Then you've got the heavy weights who go in there and try to knock eachother out in the 1st or 2nd round, some of which are able to fight technically but most are heavy hitters. T2 requires skill, different skill to T1 or ELO but skill none the less. I play all formats so my opinion is unbias, I like each format for different reasons.
