Question(s) left: During the time the Vortex were announced, a large Vortex was appearing on the sidebar. What did the Vortex eat first, and what was it about to eat second?

May as well launch the second question today, as I'll forget come tomorrow:
Question 3: A monkey features heavily in most UR related fantasies. He has been interpreted twice, the second time leaving him a bit worse for wear. But he still survives, and has a very distinctive feature in the second interpretation. What level did the aforementioned primate become a black belt?
