Wasn't sure where to start, so I picked Pussy Cats more or less by random. Or to be more honest I really liked the idea of Muse in a deck that prevented damage. Even newbie me could see how efffective poison could be in a deck that stopped incoming damage. Overall I'd say the deck was a success, I'm winning a little less than 2/3rds of my game and learning a fair bit.
My deck: Charlie, Baby Q, Brittany, Ella, Feelyn, Jeyn, Muse, Naomi
Overall I won a fair bit with the deck, but there are some definite problems. The biggest problem is that a typical hand has one or two cards that have to win and one or two cards that have to be sacrificed.
Take a hand of Baby Q, Charlie, Ella, Feelyn... I can't expect to beat anyone unless at least Baby Q or Charlie connect so I need to throw a lot of pills into those rounds and I need to one pill the other two.
At this stage of learning about this game, the game feels that it works that way. You need and expect to hit with one or two cards and lose the others. Having learned that I think some of my choices were sub-optimal.
Charlie - Charlie is an odd fish. When she's in my hand she probably needs to hit for me to win. I can't usually ignore that fat 8 damage... so her abilities don't really help. It has happened that I could use her to soak if Jeyn or Muse hit early but generally I need to throw alot of pills into her and hope. She doesn't really fit that strategy, she could be so much more if her abilities helped her connect.
