SO yesterday i was on 1400 ELO, today i play what happens? i lose....alot and now im at 1189 ELO?!?!?! thats right i jus had a really bad day.
Ive got 2 questions
1. When u hit the losing streak and just hav really bad hand matchups what do you guys do? Stop playing for a bit? Try something new?
2. I found that ELO is alot easier on every day except Sunday. Does anyone else agree? If so is it because everyone simply comes on to play ELO on Sunday alone?
I find elo a pain to lose but if i got down 100 i stop. ON a sunday if i'm in danger of going below 1300 i stop soo top 100 next week big deal. And i find i'm in a flunk thinking i knw exactly what my opponent will do then when they don't i get angry.
Over the course of the week, some good players don't have the time to put in the amount of games it takes to get up the higher score levels. This means that as the week goes on and these players have more time to play games, the amount of harder opponents in the upper score divisions will go up as well. So people don't get serious, the serious people get their scores up. Playing your final matches for the week as early as possible on Sunday is always a good idea if you're gunning for the top hundy. There are more than 100 good players in ELO, and its much easier to get there fighting against players who aren't in that category.
