@Deep End: Seriously, I would be submitting like crazy if my art style was right for UR. Lots of ideas, lots of characters but does anyone really wanna see a Chman-esque style return to this game? And I don't mean pose laziness or anything, I mean a more simplistic style compared to the likes of, say, John Sein or Tony Semedo.
@Fear: It's not as simple as that. I could draw up a list of attractive men vs attractive women right now and I could guarantee everyone would have at least a dozen problems with both lists. For example, I know a lot of people would include Stella or Diana in their female lists. I wouldn't, because I'm probably the only person on this game who doesn't "reckon" Quirk's art style at all. I often find his females to look a little too "waxwork". It's his guys who often seem to have actual fluidity. And I could safely say that my male list would be bigger than the female list, because that's just how it is for me.
I know it's opinion. It's just that I see people drooling over tons of these female characters (many revealing) but there really are hardly any male equivalents.
Okay, someone hit the nail on the head earlier in the thread. I guess I am jealous...but can you blame me? You have all this female eye candy while there's hardly any male eye candy.
"They have to respect what other people like as well."
They do. No one is bashing you for having a different orientation. However, it's just more profitable to make more female hotties, since the internets consist mainly of male teenagers.
Sure, they CAN draw more attractive males. But there are pretty much no reasons to do that.
Also, in reality, there are more attractive females than males. Well, I'm not that good at judging how handsome a man is, but I can distinguish ugly from "ok"
Besides, like I said earlier, the whole world is sexist and females will always be seen as the ones who can shake their butts to get what they want, and they belong in the kitchen. Stereotypes don't change.
@Thoazol: I was so peed off when I heard they did that. Call me weird but there's nothing more I'd love than to see a drag queen/transvestite in the Pussycats. And if anyone has a problem with that whole aspect, then clearly they're the ones with a problem. Seriously. The sex and violence and even the cannibalism gets through with barely any problems and yet everyone's ready to cause an uproar over a drag queen/transvestite of all things. Does anyone remember any of this hoo-ha with Ashley? Sorry, I'm digressing now but I felt I had to bring that point up.
Bah, Ya'know. Attractiveness/beauty IS subjective.
Complaining there isn't enough of (X) form of "attractive" characters is kinda silly to me, but while we're being petty and impossible...
I think there aren't enough talking animal characters outside of jungo, I wanna see a nuclear cyborg warrior penguin with swords for arms in La Junta.
