Of course I know I won't get very far with that budget, but I'm lvl 13, I don't dream that big.

I'm currently using a weak all stars deck:
Cesare
Jessie
Randy
Alexei
Flo
Asporov
Kang
Hugo

Cost me around 5k and consistent place in top 100 of tourny, but it won't take me in ELO.

I'm planning to play all stars at the beginning but all their goodies are banned in ELO (including Hugo)

I'm open for suggestion with 15-16k budget. I used to made it to 1400 ELO with 16k deck of Montana, but that was before Mona price was 6k

BTW, I'm an old school player so I know to play the tricky cards, took a long break for like a year and now come back with new account. My clintz is from luck of beginner (new blood pack --> quinn + elvis --> quick 19k )

@Loa Fine: I have never seen mono jungo in ELO, does they work against the popularity of half all stars/gheist/root?

@eLtAssassin: I probably won't go with Piranas or Nightmare, their good cards are expensive and frequently banned, I would go with some clans that have little bans (not much clintz to replace those banned cards)

I'm open for roots/sakrohm though

I have murdered countless skeelz deck with montana/all stars, so I don't think I can play them lol

But I actually found a good deck for 28k from LoA Fine here: id_Fine PullThePin ELO

What do you guys think?

The junta deck seems very good, and he does very well with it, so I guess it depends on your playstyle, for the sakrohm/roots deck I would suggest any of these decks, depending on preferences, you can switch between a few chars, until you get the clintz for all.( only problem is sakrohm just got a lot more expensive on some of their good cards, with the new mission and all, so the price would be 5-6k clintz higher than usual).

I don't like Winston, I'd personally change it to Dean or Wardog.
At high rating, SoA shows up everywhere.. if you're having trouble with it, Wardog is better than Dean there.

Also, I like Nahomi a LOT. If you're versing SoA, definatly replace Archibald with it. Otherwise, Archibald is a nice choice. Even though La Junta aren't famous for their pill manipulation, Archibald is a great opener.

@eLtAssassin: I think I might consider the deck without noodile, as she is a potential ban, and cost a bunch
@Pain5Q: if it is root or deck week, maybe dacote is a better choice to replace isatis? Then we can replace winston with nahomi or someone else

Admittedly I haven't tried this precise deck yet, because I just got Elvis recently and Askai was unbanned, but I did have a degree of success with a similar deck earlier.
