Hi guys i recently got into this game alot unfortunately it's hard to get real nice cards.. and i started out with low tier feng pi / ulu watu / rescue... and i decided to sell ulu watu and rescue. Now i chose uppers as my main since i heard soo many good comments about them. My problem right now is choosing sides my feng pi or my uppers, and it seems soo hard to play uppers as i still have problem understanding their bonus clan skill.
Lihoi Chun I hate him
Sayura, Love her to death very good card.
Yu mei, she is the bom
Frank Hi, he's good but still not understand the skill bonus
Glenn, awesome card but predictable.
Oxen hasn't found any use of him..
samantha good in some uses but very predictable
the build i'm going for is http://www.urban-rivals.com/presets/?id_preset=1527495
as i don't have enough clintz i will take out rubie and wendle and rplace them with Standford and Jonas
OR should i just buy
Nakata to improve my feng pi clan deck.
thx that is all my question for now.. suggestion would be great from you guys
First of all, give this a read - http://www.urban-rivals.com/game/rules.php?show=battle
Now, what your Uppers clan bonus does is reduce the attack of your opponent by 10. In this case, George's 21 attack will be "manipulated" by -10 thus having 11 attack instead of 21 attack, if faced by an Uppers card with its clan bonus activated. This applies to all "attack manipulation" cards and clans (unless deactivated by certain abilities such as "Stop Opp. Bonus' or "Stop Opp. Ability"
The "... min 3" in their clan bonus serves as the limit to which the opponents attack can be manipulated. For eg. George's attack cannot fall below 3.
I'd recommend that you go through the basics first and spare 30 minutes to go through the game basics, tutorials and rules. Here is the link : http://www.urban-rivals.com/game/rules.php
Once you are well versed with it, I'd recommend that you try out in the single player room.
Hope this helped, GG ... always
ps: Do go through the forums (at least the stickies) for a better overview of the game.
A couple of cheap cards you could try out for your FPC half would be Zhu Tang and Zinfrid. Oxen is an awesome card best played in the first 2 rounds. Unagi would be a passable replacement for Lihoi chun, at least until you get chan or kusuri.
