It's happened a few times now.
in Survivor Mode 2. most of the time I let my opponent win against 1 of my cards which has an ability of defeat -3 life
then I have 12 pills left to annihilate them with any of my other cards.
what happens is this....I still loose...even though most of the time I don't use fury...so all my attack goes into the power.
yet I still loose.....been happening yesterday and today. can some1 please clarify.....how can I win....cause clearly having more attack points and pills isn't helping
Hm, without knowing cards specifics or deck you are playing I'm just going to be guessing here but I'll try.
If you are using Tino (and consequently a Montana deck) I'm just guessing you're not picking your shots well enough. He hits for 7 damage if he actually wins the round 7>3. Also, a lot of things will keep you from winning fights even if you use all your pills in one round (particularly bad strategy btw imo). Tino w/ 12(+1) pills =78att vs say Marco Cr w/ 8(+1) pills = 81 att.
So, the problem with this strategy is you have to lose the round to get the Defeat effect, hence you are taking a hit from something on the first round, So then, depending on what the opponent has, they just over-power you even with a few less pills.
Side note #1: Post your deck you use in here, maybe we can make suggestions.
#2: there is a forum for Survivor specific questions as well, this maybe be better placed there if Survivor is your format of choice.
#3: Keep trying, more practice and experience you'll get better and find out was does/does not work for you. You can do it.
Firstly, if your deck dont have enough walling power(Power/att), it will be easy to win 3 rounds vs you(or even 2 rounds wich will be enough to KO you), also, defeat cards that are only good for loosing are always too predictable. Try including DRs instead, and if you go first, dont go for the kind of card you ONLY want to loose with. You should try to play smart, doesnt matter if its predictable, if it gives you good results, but starting of with Tino and he goes Skrumxxst(or something) and does 8 dmg, its not a good start. But if he plays revenged Essie with Ambre bonus, you want to play Uranus even though you know he wont do more than 2 pillz.
Would help alot if you post the deck(this is also in the wrong message board btw) so we can help more
Never ever go 0 pills on Tino. His damage is not a measly 2 or 3. He is a 7 damager. Having a Tino in your deck, your opponent can easily predict you gonna go 0 pills on Tino so why not put 2-3 pills on him? Your opponent might use his best damager and he could have use 1-2 pills? Together with your bonus, Tino can never lose. If he wins, your opponent will left 5 life. Full pills on Enzo and you win!
Moral: Never 0 pill on Tino
It's not just attack or pillz that affect your win. Ultimately it's down to the life points between you and your opponent; The winner is the one with more Life.
As an example, I have won more opponents than I can remember by losing 3 rounds and then ending it with a win from Jautya with Fury. (12 Life difference)
