Guru - the courtyard of shadows

As a player returning as a noob after being a noob some years ago, I have learnt more and more that this game is not about KOs. As you level up and get more competitive decks, with clan bonuses, things get harder to keep track of, and it becomes harder to KO an opponent.

Take a card like Svethlana. 2 power, 1 damage. "What use is that?", you may ask.
A more experienced player, will look beyond that and see, "Oh, her power is equal to her opponents power due to an ability."
If you're even more experienced, you'll notice that the clan bonus the Pussycats have lowers the OPPONENTS power by 2. If Svethlana isn't SoA'd or SoB'd, you have created a gap of 2 power between Svethlana and your opponent's card, making it easy to kill a 5 star card. Svethlana isn't built for lowering the opponent's health, she's built for removing a card that can take away a lot of your health.

Count by gaps, instead of what's printed on the card.
If the enemy has a card that deals 7 dmg, can heal 2 life and is given rage ( Askai ) and plays it on the first turn, that makes a total of 11 health between you and your opponent. Do you think that you can deal/heal 12 damage by winning every round after that? Because if you can't, you've lost... Unless you defeat that card, which is attack vs attack (which is determined by power, pillz and attack bonuses). This is where Svethlana would do a great job. Remember, compare like terms (Remember polynomials?). This is a game of math, probability and logic.

Imperator - humanoid weapons

You do make some points although you have the pussycats bonus confused with all stars

I don't think the person who written a thread about "Why you should pay closer attention to cards" payed close attention to the cards.

On a more serious note isn't paying close attention to the cards an obvious thing to do otherwise you won't win. (im sure even a level 3 would read the cards.

Nice insights bro

You sure are realizing things effectively. But if you wan't you could read more info's in the message boards for more techniques and insights about the game same as what you have posted. I suggest the sticky thread guides.

By the way..

Nice job posting something in the message boards. I'm sure you'll posts better ones next time

Great thinking jerromy, imma make a half deck with 2 of these: Globumm/Ogoun Kyu/Bob Joby/Diego

Ogoun Kyu can get 8 damage on the first round, then Jeena, Yookie and Arno can reduce the rest, great 1-round win

Diego has sooo imba damage, he can K.O. with Bryan, I think imma use him

Globumm is funny, he still forces pillz when I give 1 to him rofl.

So can Bob Joby with 2 pillz.

@ BotShot you don't have to be a smartass about it. He is saying cards that are mostly overlooked still have potential. He isn't saying completely underpowered cards with no practical use can be great but he is saying commonly overlooked cards if used correctly can be a serious threat. Like Platinum or Mickey T for instance. Both are extremely underused but Platinum can take on cards like Caelus and Copper with ease. he can easily overpower most non attack/power manip clans and he has 3 damage which is more than decent for a 3 star. Mickey T on the other hand has essentially 21 attack with no pills. 7 powered cards with no attack or power manip have to pill 3 just to beat him, he draws out pills and has more than decent damage.
