Even some of the more inexperienced players may have some idea of the difference, but I'd like to reinforce that message, as it can help your strategy in the long run if you don't know it already.
-opponent attack/+attack work best when your opponent is bluffing, or only putting 1-3 pillz on their card. By having the attack advantage in a round like this, it can easily allow your 4 power card to win against your opponent's massive 8 power wall with very few pillz.
Take Malmoth for example. He has -4 opponent attack with a minimum of 4, that is enough to allow him to win against pretty much any card with 8 power by merely matching them pill for pill (until 4 pillz). If he happens to have his clan bonus, +8 attack, he can beat that 8 power card as long as he has 2 pillz less (1 vs 3 pillz) or 1 pill less (2 vs 3, 3 vs 4 and even 4 vs 5 if the opponent has more stars). After that, he starts to require an equal amount of pillz.
+power and -opponent power work in all situations, but best in a high pillz one. Miss Lulabee is an excellent example for this. Very few affordable cards have more than 9 power.
Because of that, in most cases Miss Lulabee can beat the opponent for a miniscule amount of pillz. If the opponent’s card has 6 or 7 power, they need to spend 1.4 pillz for every 1 you do to win. With the Ulu Watu bonus, it changes the ratio to 9/5, which means the opponent needs to spend 1.8 pillz for every 1 pill you spend, making it easy to win. Character limit
If you reach character limit.
Just post the continuation buddy.
Anyway, again. Great reinforcement/guide/insight.. or whatever you intend to do.
To add more. You could also consider in this thread the star count conditions, plus the attacking/opposing card conditions in order to devise more strategy.
And it seems you have an ample time of making this thread. So as a big help to your threads. You could enforce them on doing attack curves.
Attack curves are graphs of a character's attack per respective pill in them. This way you can clearly pinpoint which character is effect against whom when it come to power manip/attack manip pill per pill round battles.
