Hi. So this may look like a stupid question, but there's no harm asking it.
So first of all, I did read the rules, and this is why I'm asking. I tried to enter last week's elo tournament. I played 5 or 6 games on Tuesday or Wednesday, and was around 1010 elo.
I didn'y play anymore games, and my elo decreased a bit and on a Sunday, it was still above 1000, but I didn't receive any prize from the tournament, and no message from Kate.
And even after reading the rules again, I can't find what I missed, therefore I am here asking you what went wrong.
Thanks for any answer.
if you had a score just above 1000 on sunday and you do not play another elo match.. you will take another point deduction penalty and you will drop below 1000
the penalty is 2 points for the first day of not playing, 4 for the 2nd day, 8 for the 3rd and so on...
so if you stopped on a friday and decide not to play sat and sun, you would need a score of 1007 on friday to stay above 1000 for the week. if you stopped thursday, then it would have to be at a score of 1015. you get the idea
good luck this week
Void is right. It doesn't go under 1000.
On another note, if I am not wrong "your elo points will slowly gets back to 1000 if you are not playing". So does it mean that if your elo point is 900 it slowly crawl up to 1000 when you're not playing?
