Imperator - Casual Grind
So, since the big ELO discussion brought up the fact that way too many cards in the game never see play because nothing quite measures up to the staples, I'd love to have an "underused card appreciation thread". There are cards out there that you just put into your deck for missions or whatever reason and they won you more matches than any staple and have a special place in your heart.
For me there's a number of them:
1) Baby Q, 4* 6/6 SoB with -2/min 1 DR. You will aways, and I mean always see Ditha, Malicia or even the very underused 7 powered 4* girls and simply not put Baby Q into your deck.
What are you missing on? 6 damage for one pill, or someboy overpilling on a Sob Dr. LOL. Also, likely no freaks poison, lol.
2) Cheep - 8/2 +2 life bonus, stop: -3 dam/ min 1. Well, stop cards are vanilla cards most of the time, and this guy is bonus dependent to boot.
What are you missing on? A bloody annoying 8/4 wall which makes SoA pointless because what SoA means most of the time is no DR. He makes people play stupid - heck, you can actually pill against their SoA and win for ALL damage reduced, making a 4 gap and turning your hand into a 3 rond win one.
Gork - 7/8 SoA bonus with poison self for 2 min/4. XU52 has att manip, Mechakolos is a 1 hit KO. Otherwise people just don't use him enough.
What are you missin out on? Pretty much a bloody honey badger who doesn't give a f**k. Unconditiona 7/8 with SoA? Otherwise he kicks ass.

Lol, I think we are at this point.....
Regardless, Treeman is an unappreciated card that I (personally) like (that I don't see as often as I feel like I should)

I found that bit odd because I saw like a flood of them last week when everyone and their grandmother ran Brody, so I felt it was kinda weird...

I can't recall playing against Treeman in either DT or ELO (I'm sure I have, but, if so, it's only here-and-there). My main reason for bringing him up is I feel like Treeman is the Roots top 2* card (obviously arguable with Micken Moose and Flora depending on playing style). In a T1 or ELO deck those 2* cards are valuable, and you don't want them to be throwaways.
Another card is Tobbie, but with the abuse of Mono Sentinel decks recently Tobbie has been everywhere, so I couldn't bring him up.

Boomah has big gapping potential and great attack manip, people don't expect big pillz on him often. But mono Jungo just don't appear in Ongh ban weeks...
Sayura is a similar but more agressive, a less subtle version. Overshadowed by other Fang Pi 3* I guess, but still great

I love treeman, brilliant card that is a nice change from Flora giving you
a) A card that is actually worthwhile to put pillz into
b) An answer to rampant Pussycat decks
I also like Sayura, I dont see any 6/7 Sentinels or the like running around! Unfortunately Fang Pi have amazing 3* and she falls short of their very high mark
Another card I tend to enjoy using is Flush. I didn't think much of him at first but hey, he stops annoyances like Shifou from opening the game and sits as a nice 7/5 that bowls over most opponents on reprisal

But my number 1 favourite overlooked card is Greesh
God i hate facing Greesh so much. First turn he's a 6/10 with annoying pill manips and attack manip backing him up
I played him as a noob, I killed people. Now Im facing noobs that kill me with him (ironic eh?)
But yeah never underestimate Greesh!

Oooh, Sayura is actually something I'd never make a FPC deck without. Underrated for sure, I personally kinda see her as a staple. Yes there's great other 3* but she does up to 9 on any turn, which KO's with stuff even in ELO (lol). She also looks completely harmless, too, next to so much more dangerous looking cards in your hand which is always great on a FPC.

How can Greesh be real if our eyes aren't real.
