Kinda have to agree. As a Junta player myself, just banning Isatis is kinda... silly. We have TONS of 4* to choose from. if you wanted to ban some, should have either banned Pilzken (giving more variety in used 5*s, I swear, almost everyone runs him these days) OR ban BOTH of them.
Pilzken is very strong. he has almost no counter. the only thing is the clans lack of attack manipulation but his and the rest of the clan's stats and abilities make up for it
against soa still 7/8
against sob 7/6 with amazing ability
against dr 7/6 with amazing ability most of the time (sometimes 7/5)
against all stop he is a 7/6 so has higher power than the all stops and has solid damage
against almost anything he is good
I like the return of Striker, it's a fantastic choice. Good that Saki gets banned, I wish Marina followed her too. Marina is the nr 1 4* card in AS, her presence means the awesome list of other 4*s won't get played.
Oh, and I'm happy that Robb stayed where he is. That card is broken in efficiency, and to consider it's only a 3*, so putting it in a deck isn't even risky, unlike with Caelus.
I like most of the other bans, Junta could lose Pilzken as well, and still remain powerful in mono.
Removing Zhu Tang is bad though. It's not OP, it has a plethora of counters. I can't remember a single time when an opposing Zhu Tang caused my defeat.
Zhu Tang was the soul of FPC, this card made the clan interesting and worth trying with various other halfdecks. Without it FPC is just a weaker version of Junta.
I'm neutral with the Buba ban. It's strong, but unneeded for the clan. But I can't believe Jean is still running rampant. If reducing mono strength was the point, Jean's removal is about as effective as Buba's, if not more.
I wish more cards got unbanned to be honest, there are still plenty that have been rendered obsolete, or reasonable by new cards.
Wow, so out of the current list, Dr Norton is the only card that is necessary to be banned. None of the others are game-breaking and seem to have been picked on a whim. I couldn't agree more with post 209 that there should be a vote. So many noobs that don't play ELO past 1200 are giving input that makes no sense. Also, trading Saki for Striker will change nothing about the meta, in fact, it will make All Stars more powerful and you will now see Striker on almost every weekly ban. This method of gathering input through the forum is clearly not working, because the problem clans (pussycats, roots) and problem cards (Xingshu, Ruru, Ongh) are not being addressed. There must be a better way (albeit it will take more than 2 minutes of effort)
Plitzken similar to Ongh is almost always temp banned anyways. Also both are rare cards that don't flood the game too much and are limited being power reducers.
They really only banned Isatis cause they don't want us switching back and forth from Plitzken and Isatis everytime one is temp banned.
Jungo had to go through that thing for a while too especially when they had all 3, Ongh, Askai and Troompah to choose from, before any permabans occurred.
