Vengeful to the core, Bella LD cannot bear to see Josephine's new hit show smash all the Clint City records.
So she’s decided to get to work to create the most dazzling show ever so as to bring down that young upstart a peg or two!
Bella Ld is a legendary character who is only available by carrying out missions connected with it. To obtain this character, you must unlock its last mission before March 22nd at 11.59pm (GMT + 2:00).
Thing is, a bunch of us over at the guild have been stacking creds for possible random CRing one of these days, but then I cracked a DJ Korps off an impulse buy NB booster. Who was (and might still be) still in the pack even though I thought he wasn't. So we went on a a collective binge and dumped all our stocks and then some into NB's, which was highly lucrative. This is because they're loaded with goodies and also because we scored like 5 DJ Korps (was a lot of us buying so I don't know the exact number of boosters). But... no Beck - Nena. And noone in the guild (at least noone who's reporting) has opened a single one. So unless I spend actual cash or wait till it expires, I'd have to pay anything the price manips do if I want to unlock her, and they only need to keep her up like that for a week.
So from my perspective it's no wonder it's more expensive. The "ludicrous demand" time has shrunk to half of what it was.
Also, this might not be the norm in the future, Beck - Nena are kinda special. They're both a 6 dmg 2* (Exceedingly rare, especially with 8 power), they're a competitive-looking staply 2* Skeelz (also brutaly rare), and they have a yet untested ability (+3+3). And everyone and their grandma has been buying NBs so everyne has Xingshu. I'm not entirely sure it's justified, but the hype is probably enormous regardless of the new saystem.
For truly testing what exactly the system does to prices, we gotta wait for smt with less draw.
IF, however, the next release is yet another stupidly bomby 4 or 5 * chase rare with a 10 Credit and a 2 credit mission attached, and the window of unlocking those through market purchase remains this new 1-week one, chances are it's gonna be WAY more expensive. Beck - Nena has all the possible hype going for it for the aforementioned reasons (except they might turn out to not be as good as people seem to think they are, no joke this, they're 5/3 on non-revenge which is beyond lousy, and get boosted to 8/6 with no attack manip for losing a round which is kinda... well, not necessarily something to lose your mind over even on a 2*).
But as I wanted to say, they don't have 12 credits and 35 mission points attached to them. If I don't buy them, I can just spend two or three credits to unlock the 10 mission points if I want those and open them eventually. Might be a very different story next release. Or at least next bomb release. Might make Beck - Nena price look like small change, and in fact trolliish price manipulators could actually cut people off from weekly playtime simply by making it not worth it to buy the newbloods off the market and even play that week.
NB cards were not expensive because of just NB missions
they were always expensive on release days... missions just add another factor
and it looks like adding a week waiting period didnt really do much.
hopefully people will take the time to reread some of the stuff they posted in the last 7 days when the latest NBs became available in the shop
