Hello everyone,
Lately, the Urban Rivals community has had an increased amount of phishing incidents. For those of you who are not aware, "phishing" is the practice of another user trying to illegally obtain sensitive information which would help them to get access to your account. Some tips to avoid this:
1) Do not share your password with another player under any circumstances.
2) Do not enter your password into website that you have accessed through a link in a message, YouTube comment, or anything similar, even if that site appears to be the official Urban Rivals site. For example, a shortened URL taking you to an "Urban Rivals event" could compromise your account by taking you to a site that attempts to collect your private information instead.
3) Do not enter ANY information into a site which claims to add free credits, tokenz, cards, or tickets to your collection, or provides any kind of tool to hack or cheat in UR. UR's security is excellent, and I can assure you that no such tools exist, nor is it likely that they could ever exist. However, directing victims to websites that make these claims is a very common tactic used by hackers to illegally gain access to Urban Rivals accounts.
4) Be very careful regarding any information that pertains to the purchase of credits. Your account is more safe if there is no publicly available information regarding any date of purchase, or the amount of credits purchased. Even a simple statement like "I bought 400 credits today and I got both of the rare cards I was hoping to find" could put your account in danger.
Please play safe and report any instance of suspicious activity to Urban Rivals Support.
