Hello Urban Rivals players,
During these last few months, we have been carefully analyzing your leader choices during Leader Wars.
Since the Leader Wars is now a mode that will be available on a regular schedule, we want to balance the leaders as well as possible.
This is why we have decided to make some slight adjustments to them:
Morphun:8-5 +1 pillz per round, max 11 becomes 8-5 +1 pillz per round, max 10
Solomon: 8-6 Tiebreak becomes 8-7 Tiebreak
Vholt: 8-5 team: -1 opp. damage, min. 2 becomes 8-5 team: -2 opp. damage, min 4
These changes are effective from now on. Feel free to tell us your opinions about them. Further balance changes may be done in the future.
PS: We want to remind you that the only cards that can receive modifications to their stats are the Leaders. We think that every card that has been released in the packs is part of the history of the game and it shouldn’t be modified. But since the leaders can be obtained free of charge by anyone via their missions, and since they are a crucial part of the Leader Wars mode, changes to their stats may be done from time to time to keep a balance among them.

The new vholt is still fine acculy its better his -2 min 4 with pussycats means they -4 min 1 all together lol I love it. hes acucly stronger then before
I love tie braker is now a 8/7 now he can win or tie a match all on his own. never used him cause of his 8/6
an every one knows moruph was op even with the max 11 at least this max 10 he might get un elo banned
Since Volt's min is 4, pussycats will reduce to 2, not 1 (provided the dmg is greater than 3). For example, take a card with 5 dmg:
5 dmg -2 min 4 (Volt): now at 4 dmg
4 dmg- 2 min 1 (Pussycats): now at 2 dmg.
Otherwise, I agree with Jerromy.
Morphun was extremely powerful (especially when combined with Riots). Reducing his min by 1 should help discourage olding his ability.
What about Raptors Finishing Move?
And I wonder why there is no ability like Riots Bonus (Victory or Defeat: XXX based)? Ikr, that implementing it will strike as Final Strike in Fantasy Rivals, which is regarded as OP ability by many player there. But when Raptors came, the variety of Cancel Opp: XXX is vary so much that strategy comes into play more often. Well, at least you could make some special card, like the one with Pilzken, Drakorah, or Mechakolos, with Victory or Defeat: XXX as ability. Maybe Victory or Defeat: +3 Life isn't too much.
pussy cats bonus is -2 damage min 1 with some haven a ability of -2 damage min 1 or -3 damage min 2 with vholt dropen them by 2 to 4 right off the bat could made all 4 rounds were your opponent can only do 1 damage right or is my math still broken?
"Soloman will not likely see more use with just +1 damage maybe 9/7."
Ditto. I doubt's I'll EVER use Solomon as 8/7 in LW. As 9/7 I would consider using him - his ability stays semi-useless, but at least he himself becomes a somewhat attractive nuke. Though, after giving him a go as 9/7 a few times I STILL might opt not to use him ever. Because I'd rather have some real, effective Leader abilities than extraordinary stats on Leader himself.
"Also lower eryik min power to 4 or 3."
Yep, I'd like that. To 4, 3 would be "too good to come true". Though I'll confess: I'm mainly in favor because I always liked Eyrik for some reason, even before the LW came into being.
Also, please consider adjusting Ashigaru, in regards to Ambre only. Because of Ambre threat I NEVER use him in LW. And, in 40+ Lw games played I think I've seen an opponent with Ashigaru only like 2 times?.. The change IMO should be as following: when matched up with Ambre Ashigaru's ability changes to his old one - Ahigaru wielding player only gets the turn order benefactor. But, NO 4X Courage for Ambre team.
^ I think that would increase Ashigaru play in LW a lot... And at the same time you aren't really buffing him even, - you're just removing 1 fatal LW weakness. Just add 1 -3 lines of Rules somewhere in the game description, no need to cram it onto Ashigaru's description page necessarily.
And, do NOT nerf Ambre, please... She'll just become a lackluster Leader to play with. Plus, I haven't even seen her all that often in previous LW, despite the bulkier star format.
Vholt change seems interesting. Leave it for the time being and see how it goes... I'm not expert, but he seems like a nice pick for T2 LWs now. And yes, of course, seems to be an attractive combo with some Defeats and lower mins DRs.
Morphun change: yes, please, definitely. Too much Morphun everywhere in the last LW. Plus min. 10 does not destroys his effectivity at all IMO, he remains almost the same. But, still, even such a tiny nerf to an overused and somewhat OP Leader is good, in my humble opinion (though if people dislike it too much then feel free to bounce it back up, it's not too big a deal).
All in all: nice going, UR staff. Keep it alive and fresh. Just not too many Nerfs, please, I personally hate nerfs in general (with few rare exceptions maybe, see my Morphun feedback)...
"Cool. ongoing Leader changes is good as long as it keeps going and rotates everyone around a bit"
I like the idea of regular rotation.
And I guess I'm in favor of 7/7 Eklore too. Because... I don't see her used enough nowadays and +1 Damage is not a big deal?.. Yeah, that.
"The new Vholt is still fine acculy its better his -2 min 4 with Pussycats means they -4 min 1 all together lol I love it. hes acucly stronger then before "
Well, that was the idea. Vholt change was intended as budd and NOT as nerf, no? So sure he's stronger now.
"Maybe Victory or Defeat: +3 Life isn't too much. "
I see someone's having wet fantasies about Gladia coming to UR.
