Every single player in Tournament is above level 60 and has all the crazy cards. I can't win a single match. Which means I can't get any credits. Which means I can't buy any cards.
This game is so unfair for new players. What am i supposed to do against all their abilities and 2-star cards taht do more damage then my 4-star ones?
It's literally impossible to win over half the matches I'm put up against. Nevermind finding people of my level or strength because I have the feeling they don't even exist.
Meanwhile the forum doesn't haev any topic related to this so I'm lef to beleive the Devs of this game do this on purpose to encourage spending money.
Well if I have to spend money to even BEGIN playing this game, then you will never see any of my money Urban Rivals.
If they still need to wait 2 rounds before the end and they already have sure lose they leave just because they want to continue fast. But yeah it ruins KO missions and stuff. Annoying but yeah. It is just because of the time they lose if they fight. At least you get the win
What eight cards are brand new players getting now a days? I imagine its all common cards, but are they atleast from just 2 clans, or is it just random?
The deck effectiveness gap between a level 1 player and the rest of the community is one of the biggest problems in retaining new players I think. The good part is, it only takes some friendly advice and a few thousand clintz to make a deck that you can have fun with and place fairly in ELO and dt's. New players getting crushed so badly off the bat might not see any bright side into continuing to play. (Even worse is they see player levels and think the situation is even worse than it is).
Personally I feel bad whenever I verse a level 1-10 player (usually means a free win). So I try to say; Good game and offer them any advice if they want it. A few players do seek help and I've easily guided them into cheap decks that work for them. (Biggest success was one player who wanted an Ulu deck. Threw out some advice, and then in one week he was finishing in the top 50dt easily and managed to pull 2 Rb's for over 100k from the wheel)
I know UR has changed the starter cards (it used to be an option of 3 starter decks back when I joined) before. Maybe it is time to reevaluate which cards are given to new players?
It's like a starter booster pack, but you are gimped cause it doesn't guarantee giving anything really nice
they kinda need to bring back the original 2006 style where it's you get a booster pack with a guaranteed rare; basically akin to an elite pack but with 8 cards
also probably guarantee giving a card that is assured of having the equivalent (through ability or bonus) of 7 or more power. most new players get turned away when they get a bunch of derp cards like Zdrone
okay, i admit; Zdrone is actually possible of being used because of that 7 damage and attack +8; but he really hits a wall when facing basically any card with more than 7 power in any pill for pill fight past 3 pills.
I faced a newb that had Steven Dan, Dao Wang, Unagi and Kusuri. Not sure if he bought some of the cards himself or what...
All he did was play super predictable and old the whole time for Steven Dan. But Steven Dan with his 6 power got slaughtered by Ashiko... And I won the fight by using only 3 pills over the course of the other 3 rounds (1 pill each) before pilling Ashiko with 9 (+1 bonus).
Ur would be nicer if it gave noobs free cards there were stronger like a guaranteed Zinfrid or something.
