@UR STAFF: A mass private message to all players would be an easy fix to alert players of upcoming maintenance. Maybe have an email DL called "everyone@UR" or something. Not sure how your PM system works, but something like this might would certainly shut down a lot of those complaints.
It's inevitable that we'll have to embrace the new site, but would you all please consider some "oldskool view filters" for the forum threads, market pages, and collection/deck pages? Seems like it would be a way to keep people from both the new site/old site camps happy without compromising your development needs. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see that!
@UR USERS: we don't know what happened to extend the maintenance window and blaming UR Staff is presumptive. The problems could have been caused by crucial infrastructure owned by their vendors and may have been out of the control of UR Staff. On top of that, if it was a vendor/support-related issue, UR might get in trouble if they discussed this with customers.
I have no idea what happened, but it's folly to point fingers without knowing the facts.
Also... @UR STAFF: will you please let us know if there's even a chance you'd consider the oldskool site view filters I mentioned above? I don't want to keep harping about it if there's no chance. But I will until I hear one way or the other. Thanks.
