I think that they should try out something that encourages other strategies as well, rather than 2hko-ing. I mean, the whole point of DT is to complete (and hopefully win) as many battles as you can in 1 hour. Thus, playstyles which aim at finishing the battles quickly (i. e. 2hko) are the ones which are best suited for this game mode. The faster one can play his cards and eventually finish the battle, the quicker both players can return to, well, playing, to challenging other people and eventually getting more wins aka more points. As far as I can tell, playing Pussycats, for instance, can be frowned upon, as the Pussycats player not only prolongs the game for the opponent, but also eats away at HIS own time, essentially reducing BOTH their points in the long run.
In my opinion, just as they did with this test format, maybe we could also experience something among the lines of "Players are rewarded X extra points per round", and the format would be with 13/14/15 or w/e health points. This way players are rewarded for adopting a more control oriented strategy, while the high damage clans can still retain their "bash this dude's face in with 2 cards" playstyle.
Idk, a test drive wouldn't hurt, would it?
