I don't even know what to say... Just, please help me make noise... I've sent emails to the administration, but somehow this still happens so late in the season...
I honestly don't know what to say... 6 Wins = 1 Loss
Stop complaining holy crap ur at 2100 elo . The system makes it harder and harder for everyone to climb the higher you get . Otherwise this wouldnt be competitive it would just be who can play the most games. What do you want them to do give you 20 pts for winning? make u lose 3 pts for losing. The higher you are the better you have to be and that implies not losing to some guy whos prob 600 elo.
The core of urban rivals is about luck and prediction. If anything it's closer to poker than other card games. What you want to play is hearthstone or magicwhich you can do for free online. This is the thousandth post about this stuff from people who can't accept the fact that they need to be really good or grind for years to get to the top of efc. Stop being lazy and either commit to playing a million games like the top efc players or sstpo and dont complain. This happens to everyone at your elo and if you're to much of a kid to accept it stop trying to get to the top.
I believe that in a game where luck is inevitable, it's effect on the game should be reduced as much as possible... I'm not complaining because I'm not at the top, I'm complaining because if I had been lucky, I had faced players with higher ELO and the results where diferent... And I'm sorry if I can't accept what I think it's unfair...
Main rewards of efc are given at the end of the season and it includes a pretty big pack for Zpalace players. Beyond that I agree that the rewards aren't that great but IMO, EFC is more about ranking and achievement than rewards. Finally fixing the matchmaking is virtually impossible as there aren't enough players online playing at the same time to have the high ranked ones constantly face each other .
P.S. Intended for Graham : What you think is unfair and what is unfair are two groups of things that are very different.
I still think that a battle that if you win you get 5 and if you lose you drop 40 and a battle that can get you 30 points for win and take 20 when you loose is completely different... I that is only based on luck so I think it's unfair...
Graham is completely right in this . Basically , we wouldn't be irritated by such a points system m but we are , because eight wins can equal one loss . Okay , no problem , but does that mean that the hard work of 32 minutes can be destroyed in a mere 4 minutes ? Great
@Daedalus. You're exaggerating his point . We just want something like a max of -40 for defeat and a minimum of +10 for victory . Not hard , is it ? Other hit games like Clash Royale give and deduct equal points for victories and losses . Of course , this is UR , but then again , UR isn't a hit game yet .
About grinding and being skilled , I won my first five fights for two weeks and got to 2000. Skill ? Probably not . Luck ? Of course . Yes , luck is an important factor in what you draw each fight , but being so reliant on luck that you need both a good draw and an equally matched opponent ? Now that's unfair . No , it's not what I THINK is unfair , but what ACTUALLY IS unfair .
About being unfair , yes the point of EFC is to become more and more unfair as you go on . But there is a limit to the advantage your opponent should get , which is the core of most good games these days . Facing a Dark Corners deck is already hard to defeat with a Z Palace deck , and losing 40 points is ridiculous.
And about saying that the ones at the top don't complain : yes , they do , I've talked to many of them , one is in my guild itself , and he knows that it unfair . His best is 2304 just to give you an idea .
