Hello UR folk! I'm seeing alot of people complaining about the EFC system being really hard, unfair and at most really frustating to play. But I see only COMPLAINS and actually no SUGGESTIONS so it can be hard for UR staff to actually make positive changes with no direct suggestions (I believe it would make it better for both staff and players). So I took note on some parts of EFC and wana suggest a new system to "fix some" of the frustating part of EFC.
1. Scoring points
Here we see how many points the winner of the round "should" get, winner on the left (keep note Z1= zone1= Dark Corners; Z6= Z Palace) :

But thats not all. Since I wana focus getting points based on the cards from zonez rather than players scores there is additional points lost for the cards IN YOUR HAND (the 4 that were in play) and it will be based on RARITY of the card so the RARE (expensive cards) will get more penalty than then common (cheap). With this I wana punish the people with uberly extensive use of expensive and stronger cards.
Penalty points on cards in play (only on loss):
1. Common = -0 points
2. Uncommon/Legendary = -2 points
3. Rare/Collector/Mythical = -5 points
So let's say I'm in Danger Zone (Z3), I lose to Polit Arena (Z5) while I got 2 RAREs 1 LD and 1 COMMON card in hand:
I lose a base of 7 + (5R*2 + 2Ld + 0 c) = So in total I lose 19 points!

With the first suggestion I try to encourage players to build smarter and not just throw every strong expensive card in their EFC deck for easy climbing AND lower the frustation of the later stages in the zones.
2. Zone points/ranking
Since I feel like the new system would make eazier to climb with smart non-abusive deck building, it should be kept in note the points needed for zone should be increased and for the start we should bring it up by 100 points by zone so new layout would be:
Z1- Dark corners : 0-399 Elo
Z2- Chocomuscle Ring : 400-799 Elo
Z3- Danger zone : 800-1199 Elo
Z4- EFC Tower : 1200-1599 Elo
Z5- Polit arena :1600-1999 Elo
Z6- Z palace : 2000+ Elo
3. Bonus (OPTIONAL)
That was just a small idea to encourage players to play EFC more, give newer players a chance to get some cards to improve and climb.
SO yea lets get to it: The bonus would be simply a weekly EFC mission which is Win 30-50 (somwhere between here seems fair to me) EFC matches. It would start on monday and last until the end of week (duration 7 days). The prize would be a CARD (60% common, 30% uncommon, 10% rare) from YOUR EFC ZONE you're currently in after you finish the last battle of the mission! (NO CR or MT!)
With that change I wana see both newer and experienced players be more encouraged to play EFC and I wana lower (a lil bit) the markets prizes on expensive card so newer players can reach the point faster to get good cards while the older can abuse the market less (Rare penalty).

I don't understand... how does the rare card penalty help? Everyone starts in Z1... and, that means they can only win up to 8 points per match. So, unless you only use commons, you can't move up. Also, using current zone points, that means everyone will have to play at least 38 matches to move into Z2. So, assuming optimal conditions (i.e. winning every match, always against Z1 players, and using only commons, and keeping current zone points), you would have to play about 94 matches. Now, obviously that's not going to be the case. So, realistically, for anyone to get even near Polit or Z Palace, they would have to play a couple thousand matches, because of losses, and being penalized for using non-common cards. Not only that, but since the higher zones or arenas have more limits on what you can use, it's almost impossible to make a good deck with very little penalized cards, yet strong enough to beat the lower zone's decks.
I think that staff should just ban the Big 5s, and maybe Ymirah Cr or something, because they are already restricted to Z1, and people using them to climb are not demonstrating any skill, but rather, just luck. Also, maybe there should be a few random prizes [LDs?] given out to random people who has participated in EFC, just so that the poorer new players could still have a chance... And, at the moment, EFC prizes for all zones below Z Palace are rather awful.. Playing DTs will usually pay out better. Otherwise, I think it's actually quite well designed.

Yea thats exactly what I wanted to reach, but before that I have to tell you that 2 charts above are based on the DECKs and not the zones from the players. A player can be in Dark Corners, BUT if he uses cards only from Z Palace then the point system will count him for Z palace for the sake of point gain/lose. One of the main ideas of this new system is "You are what you use". So when a Ymirah Cr Graxxxmas Cr player wants to abuse those cards in Dark Corners they can basicly do it all day because the points gained through wins are very minimal.
Well the idea of the penalty on losses was basicly to punish rarer, stronger and more expensive used cards, so players with less money and beginers can afford the cheaper and less stronger Commons and Uncommons and don't lose as much as a guy would with expensive good cards. I though since EFC is like the only real competitive mode it should be fair and equal to all players .... well as much as I can try it to be.
+Also it was a little bonus on losses because i felt like the my losing chart wasn't high enough (we can't just gain alot more than we lose as well).
But yea heres an updated hopefully better one:
1. Common = -0 points
2. Uncommon/Legendary = -1 points
3. Rare/Collector/Mythical = -3 points

That would work better I think, but I still prefer the current system.
Except that they should permaban the 5* Big 5s, and stupidly annoying cards who are already restricted to Danger Zone (because it makes the first weeks so darn hard to play in). Cards like Uranus, Graks, etc...
