I think the current LD weekly missions are too time consuming and difficult.
I think that spending 5+ hours to obtain 1 card, which might not even be one you want, is terrible, and it would take an extremely long time to finish my collection of Ld's (i need 16 more).
I spent 5 hours tonight to get my card and that was with winning 23 knockout wins (Mission C) in a row and playing with full decks that favoured each specific mission, so i believe the amount of time spent to earn the Ld Card was a pretty fair representation of how long it would actually take.
I think that UR should scale back the difficulty or the time needed to obtain the LD character per week, and possibly allows us to choose from the pool of LDs that we do not have yet, allowing for a better understanding of the reward we are receiving for the number of hours played. I didnt want to spend 5 hours tonight to get Hopper Ld, as a i do not play Jungo, and would much rather obtain Dr. Van Wesel Ld, Tiwi Ld, Nega D Ld, or Wild Holiday Ld.

I liked the change to random unowned when it was announced, but I haven't bothered with the missions anymore since pretty much 2 weeks later. Takes forever even with a deck tailormade for them.
That said, some Lds are genuinely powerful, and some are staples for their clan in ELO. So I understand them not being super easy to get.
I came back in the game after a year and it was a surprise for me to see that Ld missions have changed. I must say I like them better now, because you can finish them without any specific card or clan (I know that every week before I took a break some specific cards or clans prices were higher than usual so you could also earn a nice amount of clintz because of high demand for some specific cards), but I do understand the frustration in finishing some missions (for example the Heal or Poison missions take time, the same as KO missions), but you do get some tokens for the effort. And also the surprise in what card you get is also better for me now, because before I could just decide to not start the missions if the Ld card was not the one I wanted.
I don't really see a problem with the missions. The ones that suck are the ones specific to winning X amount of games in DT or Elo or whatever, but the last few weeks haven't had those. All-around I thunk the LD missions are better than they used to be.
There were times when I really did not want a specific Ld like Space Hans Ld or Yomi Ld. Some of the missions are hard and time consuming like winning 120 rounds in ELO or getting 100 heal points but I like this system better. It's like a surprise. And it's not like you're doing the missions for nothing. You're getting a new card every time. No one should expect to get Nega D Ld, Kommandon Ld, Dokuja Ld, or Lois Ld each time they complete an Ld mission. You're bound to get a card you do not want. You also finish other missions while trying to get the Ld card like pillz, life points, poison, etc. so it's a win-win situation.
I forgot about that, Saiyan, you can also include finishing other missions while doing Ld missions, because you can now use every clan for Ld missions, so it's not wasting time on these Ld missions... Just finished last one for this week and got Raser Ld and also finished 5 other missions while chasing the Ld.
What if, rather than it being fully random, you receive an LD pack.
With the LD pack you could pick 8 or 9 different clans and get an LD from one of the clans you chose.
I agree that it's quite a bit of work to potentially get an LD you will never use. But I think that it still needs to be kept random.
Another, arguably better idea, is that UR staff picks before hand which 8 clans will be available each week. If you already have all LDs from those 8 clans, then you get a random one.
This way, if in a week there's only clans you don't play, you can skip the missions for that week and not waste your time.
Yeah, they should give a clue to the reward LD.
Then let's talk about the alternative: Arcade;
2 dragon drinks are too little, make an option to buy more;
There also should be a flashpoint in NORMAL and HARDCORE at 5. So you don't need to restart.

Btw for season 1, just make every chapter for free and give credits to early buyers.
In terms of all-around ease, i agree. but i have spent my time on these missions to get MOST of the Ld's that i didnt want. Ive Probably spent about 30 hours for almost no cards I wanted.
While i do understand about the current system and not having to use the clan the the Ld is a part of, which i think is a positive, i think the missions could possibly be a SLIGHT bit easier or, less time consuming.
