Clint City, we’ve noticed that the price of cards has rocketed with the overhaul of the market, the mythic passages and the Exclusive cards...
And that’s just the start of it, as this year's all set to be pretty full-on what with the arrival of the Leaders, new waves of LD and a new clan.
So, the aim of these KNOCKDOWN sales is to allow you to make the most of all that’s to come.
Be sure to make a note of this date: tomorrow at 10am (GMT+1).
See you soon!
"I do suggest however that the people making decisions about currency manipulation consider how real central banks work, and aim for a 2% yearly inflation"
Is that true? ...
Are u guys are suggesting that kiddos and teenagers make decisions based in models that are applied at MAJOR business and international matters?...
Ok then... what u have to do first is to bring certainty to those guys whom you are tying to advice, cause if people DON'T know how to react is because u make decision that oppose each other in a short period of time ...
Or what was the idea behind increasing Kate's purchase price a few months ago? A lot of cards were taken from the market and now u are doing the opposite.
Time to time u guys show that u just DONT know what u are doing.
Stop playing with people's money , cause the bottom line is that many guys invested REAL money in this stuff and u are just making stupid decisions that affect them badly.
I propose U GUYS take the hands outta the market right now, and let supply/demand set the market.
If u want to control the market u could tray other regulations like setting a maximum of copies a guy could own from a card. Is just an example, but is a way u could have some control over the market rules without being so invasive .
The recent price spike is a response of putting more clintz into the market.
By jacking up Kate prices "worthless" cr cards that were 5k jumped to a 50k floor. A lot of hoarders then sold their crap Crs for 50k each creating a drastic influx in prices.
Same happened with Mt cards. Rattanah pre Kate increase went for a bit over 100k. With the 500k floor she increased by 5-6 times.
A lot of rares and uncommons also spiked to at least floor levels 9k and 2.5k. Before the Kate increase crappy uncommon cards only went for a few hundred clintz and bad rares were sold for 1-2k.
To solve the price spike Kate rates of buy backs could be lowered reverting prices of crappy cards back below the set floor.
Irish, there no way out for clints. They need to find the way to take them off. 100k for dt win is crazy number. I remember 1,5k was a winning price. Bring back LeaderWars with entering price 20k and do not give a prizes in clints, bring back 1.5k for dt win, do something!! otherwise inflation will eat the game.

Are you implying that the staff that run this game are "kiddos and teenagers"? Because when I mention currency manipulation, I'm talking about the staff admins who are in charge of monitoring the economy of the game. Not people buying and selling on the market. The game "adds" currency every time anyone wins a game, at the end of tournaments, EFC seasons, and Survivor rewards. Clintz won in the game are created, I am suggesting that to make the market more balanced, this added currency be at a lower inflation rate than the current jump we have seen recently. While the injected clintz has made it easier on some people to get cards, the overall effect has been a spike in market prices. You used to be able to get commons for 50 or 150 clintz, now the cheapest are 800.
This is the inflation I'm talking about.
I do agree there needs to be more things to spend clintz on. This would alleviate the over saturated clintz pool.
Most games have a way of "removing" currency from the game. WoW was item repairs, mobile card games often use a cash in to upgrade scheme. Urban Rivals only has Kate tax, which with guild rewards can be significantly reduced, so the cumulative amount of clintz is always rising.
On a side note Go Irish I do agree there should be a maximum amount of copies any player can own, for me this game has always been about playing it and beating people. I don't need any more than 5 copies of any character (to account for semi-evo). But some people horde hundreds of a copy of a card, hoping it goes Cr, or in some cases to manipulate the price of a single card.
While I understand this is a game, and everyone gets their enjoyment out of it in different ways. Wealth accumulation for the pure sake of wealth accumulation, isn't healthy for the game environment and makes it a lot harder on new players to enter the game.
Final note: Not all staff share the same opinions, I'm very well aware that my views are not shared by most. I'm just here to keep the forums tidy and help people when I can. These last few blocks of text are just my thoughts, not something that will be implemented.
If we have a new clan coming soon. could we have a good verses evil event with Vortex as the main bad guys because in your game timeline the Vortex are the last clan standing with a desperate Hive trying to resist them. I know we have had Vortex v hive before so if you link 4 clans & make the format like Leader wars (every clans bonus is active reguardless of wether or not other members of the same clan are in your hand or not.
My suggestion is 4 proven Evil clans lead by the Vortex with support from Nightmare, Geist & Piranhas against the defenders lead by the Hive with support from the obviously good clans which are Frozen, Jungo - card bios describe how Vortex enslave all Jungo in the future Resuce % Sentinel clans . FOOTNOTE if you take out the sentinel & say law & order has broken down then you could have the Hive instead. I know this ends up 4 evil verses 5 good but there are always more good people than bad people. Thanks.
