Yeah I feel like they definetely need more advertising. A manga trading card game like this should be immensely more popular than it currently is. I think even back in the day they didn't advertise it enough. Maybe their budget just isn't big enough to do so, which would be a shame, because it's a fun game that deserves more popularity.
@Trollzard: totally agree with the fact that even a few years ago we didnt do enough ads
BUT I think that is the reason why we are still alive even after all those years. Players arent bored of us. We are very underground but still there. Constant and strong.
We are only 5 people with a bunch of awesome frelancers behind the game.
We cant afford blizzards marketing. We only can put a little budget for a basic campaign.
Still, Urban Rivals has new players each day.
We KNOW that actual UI/UX is not as good as the iOs version an Steam one is a mobile version portage that needs improvement.
We are on IT. We are working hard to achieve it all and once released the all thing we know we will grow naturally and surely put more money on campaigns.
Just for information we are in really better shape than we were since 2014...
We can tell you UR is really back on rails.
Now big things can come:
-mobile UI improvement
-steam UI pc friendly
-improved game modes
-new real time servers for our entrance in esport world...
So, yes we were big in Europe a couple of years ago. We changed a lot of things for the game future. We invested money as we know the game's potential.
We surely be big again.
