Continuing with my thought: Maybe staff knows EXACTLY what they're doing. Maybe they WANT inflation. Maybe that's what that whole stupid market reset BS was about. Inflation means it's harder to afford cards on the market. If that's the case then players only option to get cards becomes buying packs, which cost credits, which cost RL money!
Staff probably doesn't care about the market at all. Why would they? It doesn't make them money. The market reset also made it more enticing to sell cards to Kate. Every card sold to Kate increases the rarity of that card, driving the price up. Again, people are forced to buy packs to get cards. Staff wins!
Funny that staff has instituted a card sink (selling to Kate), and a credit sink (packs), but has never (and probably never will) created a clintz sink, the ONE thing that would control the inflation! But of course they would. bringing down inflation is contrary to their business of selling packs.
Which brings us to these lovely pack sales. Staff acts like they're doing us a favor when in actuality, they're just selling more packs and credits. These pack sales "throw a bone" to some players (again, temporarily), but think about the players that get hurt. Players that already have a couple (or 10) behemoths, for example. This pack sale actually hurts them (again temporarily). No one's going to sell these cards because their prices have all dropped, so again, the Market gets screwed. Staff wins!
"Players that already have a couple (or 10) behemoths, for example. This pack sale actually hurts them (again temporarily)."
And who are these players ? Investors who are pretty rich to buy 10 behemoths, and some of them are reason why these cards are inflated.
So, at start you are speaking about inflation, but later defending people who are causing it ?
This pack is pretty good way how to decrease inflation for most costly cards, yea, investors are losing, but that's our risk when we are investing.
I am not an expert in this matter, but I think the big sale for expensive cards will eventually reduce inflation. If many people already get their hand of these expensive cards through pack. So market demand will be lowered. considering that these cards are still ditributed thorugh packs, so its stock will always be increased. So the price will be lowered. If many people can afford those cards, so other cards' price, not to mention lower tier cards, will also obliged to decreased to maintain its market. I think, the main problem is there are several people with lots of expensive cards. they are able, either intentionally or not, manipulate market. Now, I am wondering if kate also sells cards, for the sake of maintaining the price
LOL Of course the staff want us to buy credits. If the game makes NO money the game wont be here. I LOVE this game so I buy credits when ever I can and sales like this are a kinda reward for us that buy credits.
Keep up the good work staff!
