Having been ruined in the final lawsuit over the Cutey case, Ielena thought that was the last she’d hear from the Uppers. But Zlatar is just the kind of person to kick a girl when she’s down and his latest appearance on the screens really hurt our beloved witch…to the extent that, after venting her rage, she decided to take early retirement…Askai was really not expecting to have his swords stolen in his latest training session at the Free Fight…
The charismatic rabbit knows the guilty party must definitely be new in town as Askai is too respected in Clint City for anyone to steal his most treasured possessions.
Everyone’s talking about these little hooded men that seem to be hanging around Bloodh’s Rum Distillery… But Askai decides to give up on his swords and avoid any potential confrontations as he’s got a bad feeling about all this. Instead, he’s very wisely decided to leave town for a comfortable retirement.
Our 2 characters are leaving town on April 23rd. You've got one week to get hold of them in the packs for the very last time, with a double drop-rate thrown in for good measure. And the market will open on Friday, April 20th so you can do some trading over the weekend. Happy gaming!
Given the Collector news, we are moving the release of the Arcade HQ, that was originally scheduled for today, to tomorrow Tuesday, April 17th, when a fabulous LD card will await you.
As Turgoyak says, the matter is that Admins abuse their knowledge into their favour.
Also since the Staff tried to censor this topic (which by the way goes against terms of conditions of use and is therefore per definition Mod abuse) it seems to go way deeper than a few cards.
We also had the case, that a totally new players bought a bunch of soon to be CRs. This again would be a violation of Acute Games' rules.
There are three important points about this subject.
1- As saga said, the admins choose the cards that are going to turn CR. Thus, when rathus bought it, he KNEW it was turning CR in two days.
2- Although it is true admins can add any card to their colection, but each card keeps the history of its previous owners, so he wouldn't be as confortable selling and trading those cards.
3- Imagine if there are only 100 cards of the X type. Having 50 of those 100 cards is more valuable than creating 50 cards thus owning 50 out of 150.
In my opinion, Rathus was wrong in buying those cards from the market. What was done cannot be changed, but I do hope the admins are more careful with that in the future because it directly hurt some players (Yes, they had the cards for sale, but perhaps if the admin had not bought them it wouldn't have been sold, thus creating a loss to the player of (at least, since I don't expect askai to go under 100k) 75k.
I fully understand Turgoyak and if it were me I would be equally upset.
Imo you guys are making a huge deal out of something so meaninglessness.
Let the staff do whatever they want, they're clearly not doing something that is hindering our experience of the game.
What are we meant to do? These guys keep the game alive, I'm okay with them buying a couple of extra cards to make some more clintz, I don't get why they did it, but I also don't really care.
Just keep up with the balancing of the game and we'll be fine.
So basically you rant about that owners/administrators have more privileges and that they do what they want (in their own home)?
Even "using" (not abusing) their knowledge to participate on the market?
And on top of that, you really want to differ between 100 and 50 cards that are on the market? That's a real drop in the ocean compared to the number of cards the players own. Far from being significant enough to change supply-demand-balance.
So please tell what period of time would be OK for you (where the admins are not allowed to buy cards they know will become CRs/MTs one day...)
So that you don't feel like being abused, treated unfair or aynthing else you said.
Maybe you read the "Terms and conditions of use" again. ARTICLE 8: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY is answering all your questions.
@Hayden I think there was one deleted message, probably to avoid pointless trouble, but since then I haven't seen anyone else trying to censure this topic and i haven't either.
Probably I should because a lot of your complaints are exaggerated and false.
" Admins abuse their knowledge into their favour. "
- no, they can get cards for free, so it's even not using their powers.
"1- As saga said, the admins choose the cards that are going to turn CR. Thus, when rathus bought it, he KNEW it was turning CR in two days."
-Maybe, but can't be 100% sure about it.
"2- Although it is true admins can add any card to their colection, but each card keeps the history of its previous owners, so he wouldn't be as confortable selling and trading those cards."
- how do you know how comfortable or not he would be and why do you think admins would even want to trade cards?
"3- Imagine if there are only 100 cards of the X type. Having 50 of those 100 cards is more valuable than creating 50 cards thus owning 50 out of 150."
-It's old common card, so there are thousands of these cards, even buying all the cards currently in market wouldn't make difference in prices after CR announcement.
Only thing i can agree is that maybe cards won't be sold Turgoyak had, but from other point, how returning cards would be fair to people who sold Askai to someone else not admin in last few days?
In my opinion Turgoyak got leak for price of 3 Askai's. Post 46 had similar situation and he reacted to it.
It's part of the game. It's not always as fair as we wish it to be.
You can discuss about the things, but if your purpose of comments is to make bad impression of staff with making false statements, they will be deleted from now. @jviana
If we talk terms:
ARTICLE 6: PROHIBITED ACTIONS
- Any behavior aimed at getting round the rules of the Game or modifying the Members’ ranking that may result in confrontations between Members: a permanent ban from the Game.
How come it is a coincidence that a player
1. turns out an admin.
2. buys exactly 3 copies (1 for each evo).
3. of a card thet turns CR 2 days later.
Being a staff member that determins the CRs and knowingly buying these cards from the market before they turn CR is exactly getting round the rules of the Game. Just think of him as a REGULAR player like me or yourself. As a regular player he used his admin leak to boost his collection ranking. I do not know why he would do such a thing, but there is a way to resolve it. But they do not do it! Why?! I do not giva a damn about the digits on screen but hey is there common sense in people, self-consciousness?
