This is a take off of the good and evil thread, how do you see the clans as in what you think makes them tick, how they get along with groups, their motives...kind of like what your headcanon is for them. I'll give an example...
Riots: While there are Bioshock references in Riotopolis, it's not Randian due to Pericles knowing what it's like to be screwed over by the market and the elites Rand would've praised. The Riots do praise logic over emotions and are atheists or to a lesser extent, agnostic. To many of the surface-dwellers, the clan might come off as snobby and they were for a while until the Riots were forced to eat a little humble pie when stuff like Christmas appealed to the kids and they saw that the surface-dwellers aren't all barbarians. Still, the clan has a lot of pride and are more open to sharing what they have in science and philosophy in hopes the Clintizens will learn something.
If you guys have different ideas about the Riots or have your own theories on the clans, I'd like to hear them. If you want, I can add what I believe the Riots think about the other clans.
Junkz: The Junkz are happy to work with anyone who shares a similar interest or talent with them, meaning that Choko and other programmers/hackers are often working with the likes of Fizzle and Sasl Lovelace, or the likes of D4 Funk are recording remixes with Lady (not all Uppers are up themselves).

I think these are relevent.
The entire series (yes, there is only 2 so far) is supposed to be my headcannon for each clan. I have many more in process, but I take forever when writing something as I constantly revise it...
GhosTown is just unlucky souls who are trapped in a limbo theme western world between life and the great beyond. I don't really see GhosTown as a evil clan. They aren't really trying to hurt anyone. They just want gold to pay judge lynch. So that they can crossover to the great beyond
@Dr Pr Hudson - I liked your takes on those clans. Though I see Sentinel the one clan that Rescue sees as an ally and they will work together.
@Flb Hibram - That's a good point.
@batdut5 - That is true. I've had some funny ideas about GhosTown where Toro/Ratanah has to teach them that there's certain things you shouldn't really say anymore ("don't refer to any of the Montanas as dagos" and how things have changed ("yes, it's ok for "nancyboys" to hold hands in public".
For me, I picture Nightmare being like a toned-down version of the Sabbat from Vampire: The Masquerade combined with a more dysfunctional version of The Addams Family. (And took out the apocalypse cult aspects (Sabbat) for a larger variety of creatures.)
