Nah. Cancel Pow/Dam Modif is always strong in efc, because most good decks either have a power or damage manip. bonus, or several power or damage manip abilities. Futoshi Ld is now SIGNIFICANTLY stronger against any of those, and since they are common in most decks... The point of a legendary is to be a stronger than average pick for the clan in Z Palace without being broken. Now Futoshi Ld is, I predict, PERFECT at that role. Why complain?
Instead, imma complain about the Nega D Ld "nerf" which I predict will make ZERO change. I had no idea Nega D Ld was that good, but now that I know, I ask why change an infection ability on a card that most players won't use before round 4? Even if used in round 3, the difference is only 1 life point. This is a half measure. If you want to nerf Nega D Ld reduce his power to 7 and be done with it
I agree Jaxx Ld has caused a lot of trouble. I'd just make him a 6/6 Growth: -4 Opp Atack, Min 6. He'd be weaker in early rounds and strong in later rounds, exactly according to the stated staff design brief. He'd also retain the original 666 theme
If Yomi LD is the lowest winrate of cards, perhaps giving her an extra damage would help rather than lowering the min? She's typically an opener from my experience, so reducing to a min of 1 implies she's useful lategame, which is not the case when you're using Beck-Nena and Arantxa with her. I've even seen Andy LD used as a finisher.
Rather disappointed with Hopper since I loved using her for those +Life missions. I would like to see her with 6 damage since she lost that life gap potential with this change.
I agree on the Nega D Ld change being laughable. That is typically the card to deal the fatal blow in round 3 or 4, after bluffing in some damage using the uppers bonus. The backlash poison ability almost never comes into play. (Except for the specific Arcade mission, which is made a little easier with this change, was that the whole point to it I wonder?)
Ye Bagadur... Unfortunately I think he was and still is too weak... I feel like GHEIST in general are too weak, besides some great core cards (Rekt Ld, L Lace01, #arn2000... Darling?) that aren't enough for a good support nor offensive half deck...
At least in EFC that is.
Agreed Don Calvera. I think they should have opted for a backlash toxin 2 min 0 instead of amping up the total poison value by 1 because it pretty much never happens in EFC. Although i have to admit that when you have to wait until round 3 or 4 to use a card you can set up pretty good DR and damage/ power exchange opportunities. Just KOd someone a little bit ago scaring them with Arms -10 min 3 against Nega, then coming right back around and smashing Nomi for 9 damage
