The Arena pack will cost 110 credits.
It’s very easy, you can choose between the available arenas, and once your purchase has been confirmed, your “skin” will be directly available in your player Profile, under the “Arena” section.
So, what are you waiting for? Go try out the K.O.!
Happy gaming to you all and please be sure to give us your feedback on this new arena!
I hate to say it, but the arenas and zoomed view, etc with the new app is, IMO, the worst decision UR has made in the past decade.
We used to have a variety of full-bodied and colorful artwork while maintaining stats and card art that were easy to view. Now it's these little strips of graphics in an overhead view... one that's darkened if you're trying to see card stats.
The only thing that will change it is uproar from the community, polling the community for what they actually want, or simply the passage of time that will bring about the inevitable next series of changes (which I'm holding out hope will be better than what we have now). Apologies if I put this out there too much, but I've been playing this game for nearly a decade and I can't help feeling the disappointment every time I open the app these days. I love the core gameplay and community, which are the only reasons I'm still around.
@Miss Kyoka Glad to see its working for you now
@Babs I understand the point you're making but I have to disagree. Your reasoning sounds outdated. Gaming has changed over the course of the last decade, especially with app micro transaction systems. Many games are making extra revenue off of selling aesthetics. It's a great idea by the devs to try and gain some of those potential profits, which will help improve or keep the game funded.
As for "uproar".. just go and read through the different arena threads so far. Each one there is less and less complaints as people adapt to the simple interface changes. I actually think your hate about the backgrounds being the "worst decision UR has made" is the only complaint in this thread specifically about the aesthetics. Also didn't you say a few pages ago "I don't hate, at all, ever."...seems you're hating right after.
I wasn't thrilled with the idea of the new arenas at first either but they've grown on me. When two players, each using a different non basic arena, verse each other the gameboard looks an actual battleground, much better than the old flat backgrounds. The big problem with the current system is just that there aren't a lot of arenas released yet, so the backgrounds are a bit repetitive.
One thing I would agree on is that the "darkening" of the backgrounds is unnecessary when zoomed into card view. I think card view would be better with the normal arena colors.
