I was wondering, since the basis of points in the Daily Tournament are stars beating other stars towards a victory, is the use of multiple 2* cards in a deck suggested. What are your proposed 9-11 card decks for DT Type 1. Is this a viable option for top DT placement?
I have made tests with a Huracan decks for daily tournaments with nine 2* cards, one 3* and and one 4* card.
The deck has it's tricky #Bugabuga LD, Noctezumama and El Factor for damage. You just need to counter pill your opponent while you have full life. However in actuality, the deck is very hard to pilot, and at times predictable.
What are other clans that you suggest that can match with Huracan with low star count to total 25*.
As Anzboy mentioned, those 11 cards are filler with 3 extra cards. I have seen successful 16 Star decks on T1. It is not advisable as you reduce your odds to draw specific cards essential for strategies and synergy.
Your approach for 11 card decks might be more suited for T2 to have a higher chance to draw low star cards since lower star cards that beat higher star cards gain more points and because you need to have 26 or more stars to qualify there.
In practice, this is often done with Rescue or any Attack Modifier clan with exception to Montana (The high minimum is what I suspect for not seeing it used with Low star decks in T2).
You are on the right track to say the basis of winning are stars. However that does not mean you need to win the match.
Sure if you win, you get 25 subtracted by Number of Stars on your hand (4 cards you used in the match). as a bonus prize. However it is possible to somehow get more points than the opponent by winning 3/4 of the rounds.
Cards wise, I would consider El Mariachi for mono (in case you are against Rescue), Gatuchica, Tengu. You can also use Quetzal Cr (For Type 2 only).
