Hahahaha two times what? 2x the normal rate. They aren't going to say because then it kills any promos. Example: Cr are about 140 so chance to get any single one? half of 1% or 0.5% so if the drop rate was that ratio a x2 drop rate would give you a 1% rate. If the expensive Cr have a reverse weighted % drop say half, the normal rate would be 0.25% a 4x drop rate only gets you to 1% I don't mind working hard for cryptos though, I'm playing anyway. Just get NB packs forever and save up cash for the special cards.
@Impalass: you should have a problem with that. I don't really care if crypto packs are weighted. [which they presumably are] I would just like to know [and think the community has a right to know] if I am four times more likely to get a Phonos Cr in a crypto pack in comparison to a Guru Cr.
Yeah, welcome to the infamous loot box topic. Still they are not seen as (illegal) gambling. Or let's better call it a legal limbo.
So no, there's no right to get to know what the chances are. We know that we only "buy" the chance to get sth that is not necessary to play the game. Weird. But that's the situation atm as far as I know.
"I would just like to know [and think the community has a right to know] if I am four times more likely to get a Phonos Cr in a crypto pack in comparison to a Guru Cr"
Sure, I'm also curious. But what would you do with that information? Rant about the fact you got not only 4 Phobos but 5 before you finally got a Guru?
And as you can't take that Cryptocoinz currency anywhere else...

I don't think that we should have a legal right to know the percentage chances of anything that is completely free. [i.e. cryptocoinz] I just believe in the interest of fairness it should be disclosed.
However, when you have promotions which are designed to entice people to spend credits: there is a clearer issue. Someone could decide to buy endless amounts of credits until I get M2 Sansot. But, if I was aware of the fact that the drop rate might only be 5% - then the same consumers might not spend money because they realise their chances are limited.
I simply believe that I should have the choice to make a more informed decision of whether purchasing credits is worth it for each specific promotion. I don't think it's an unreasonable request.
It's so absurd to say that something is "two times more likely to happen" when nobody knows what the probability of it occurring is in the first place.
"It's so absurd to say that something is "two times more likely to happen" when nobody knows what the probability of it occurring is in the first place."
Absolutely. And you're not the first who noticed that those "drop rate" announcements have no significance at all because of this.
"But, if I was aware of the fact that the drop rate might only be 5%..."
Useless information imho. Anything else besides "Character XY is guaranteed" would always be a lottery. Even if it's said that chances are 50/50, you still could always be the exception to the rule.

Even if the droprate of each special card was known the luck chance of not getting them is still playing a big factor. Take pokemon as example of this. some moves have a acc of 95%. Which mean that you have a chance of 95% of hitting the move, but there's still a 5% chance of not hitting with the move. The same goes for ur. A card might have a high droprate chance but there's stil a big factor in form of the cards dropping with the same rarity.
@Saga, I confirm what you say: UR is very fair in offering the possibility to do *everything* in the game just by playing: you can complete collection, be at the top of any modality, achieve all titles.
But, there is an important exception, that bugs me because it affects my favorite part of the game. It is not possible to stay at the top of the missions points ranking, because there are many missions that can only be achieved by paying: the "Building a..." series of missions, that require a player to buy credits. In some cases, even completing deals and getting credits will not be valid for the missions.
If you want to say that in UR one can do everything without money, you should change these missions to read "achieve X credits", and make all the credits count: those bought, from offers, the rewards from the various modalities, from other missions, etc.
