Also, three times WHAT base percentage?
It's actually infuriating to read a different 'triple drop-rate' thread every single week without addressing the issue that so many members of the community have.
Between Crusader, Obelisk and Darkeyblade: they say they have opened 90 elite packs (3600 credits) yet none of them got this 'rare card' that has a triple drop rate. For it to not occur once in ninety packs is really bizarre.
If I hypothetically spent over €100 on credits and did not receive an Akrakk; I am led to believe that there is something incredibly wrong with this 'triple drop rate' formula.
I think continuing to run these promotions is incredibly exploitative of the players who consistently spend REAL money on here to essentially 'gamble' their REAL money for a chance of obtaining a special card. [that you have rumoured will become a collector which is a further enticement for people to spend their money on these packs]
@DUC-KevinAFCA I agree with that.. sometimes it's stronger than me..
My opinion about this topic is that the staff is the one in charge and they can do whatever they feel is right to do.. maybe everything is not going like some people think it should go but we see something new every day and that is very important so the game can keep on going with fresh and stimulating stuff.
About the triple drop rate i can say batdut had the idea how it works but lacked on explaining and that's why i had the urge to comment about it. So if you think about how to make it right then the the packs should have the same percentage of drop for every single card that they are able to drop and in the case of this post having a triple drop rate it would exactly mean what the words say and that is 3x times bigger chances to pull the specific card compared to the others in the pack. BUT probably that's not how this works and i believe it's for a reason so it's dull to complain about it. The solution i can give to all of the people saying it's not right and it should be in another way is to leave the credit card in mom's purse because you'll get an ass beating
For me batdut is perfectly clear in what he's trying to say. You have an 1 in X (depending on total rares in the chosen clans) to get Akrakk, that it times three with this droprate
He described, and maybe could be added, is that this is BEST case scenario, where all rares have the same base droprates. And even with the best scenario, he advises against buying the packs. If you believe that some cards are weighted differently, not favoring of Akrakk, the math is slighty different, but the conclusion should still be the same = Pack deal might not be good enough to buy
You can disagree on the way he writes stuff, but comments like ''Can you stop trying to sound smart?'' are not helping a conversation. That's all
