I've been thinking lately. Our guild has grown into something really amazing lately. For a little context, we do count-up threads in our forums with which we use for conversations and giveaways. When I came back to UR, the most recent count-up at the time took 3 or 4 years to complete 2500 posts. These days they're done in weeks. We don't even announce the prizes or anything like that; we just hand them out. For some reason the members of our guild, who couldn't pick out their guild mate's real faces in a line up, people who never knew each other beforehand, absolutely love being active and talking to each other. Its a complete mystery to me how you can just drop random strangers in a text chat and they all seem to get along immediately. I think that speaks volumes about the character of the people who join up, and the leadership from our old-timers. I'm really proud of what we've built here. Personally this made the COVID experience a million times better than it should've been and I'm a little sad that people are going back to their lives again. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for them, but I suppose that's the nature of these things. Bitter-sweet and all that. I know that those leaving have left the rest of us with a little piece of themselves, and I'm really grateful for that. I'm really proud to be the leader of this bunch of misfits. So yea I'll stop rambling now. If you want people to chat with while you play this game, or anything else, you know where to go.
