We did a small upgrade today: now the training rooms will prioritize your "leveling up" cards from your deck.
Meaning if you have 4 levelling up cards and 4 maxxed cards, the levelling up cards will ALWAYS be choosen in a training room (lost warehouse etc..).
Also, the wins / loss / draws are no longer recorded (popular request ) but the leaves, timeout and battle count are still recorded (to allow you to reach the 1000 battles star while levelling up).
Hope you'll like the changes.
The upcoming Vansaar fix is great news. It's always bothered me that the XP leader actually leads to a net loss in XP when used.
@DerMagus. There is a step after the XP is multiplied by 3, which is that the total is divided between each player, and then a bonus is added on top. The bonus is dependent upon the game result, and I believe is 50 XP for a loss, 60 XP for a draw, 70 XP for a win, or 90 XP for a win by KO, though I think the bonus is supposed to be equal regardless of battle result.
@the game admins: is it possible we can have that bonus made equal for both players? This would be the final stage in eliminating the incentive for winning in the Lost Warehouse, and would lead to more cooperative play overall.
Other things on my Lost Warehouse wish list:
Since the highest possible XP is gained from higher star differences, then the best possible pairing is when one player has as many low star cards as the other player has high star cards. Is it possible that the card selection algorithm can be changed to, instead of always selecting the cards with the lowest amount of XP, instead favor two cards with low XP and two cards with high XP?
Also, is it possible that rather than having the Lost Warehouse unlock by attaining a certain level, some kind of a Lost Warehouse literacy test be implemented? I'm finding more and more players who don't understand how to maximize XP, and a disturbing number who go for 2nd or 3rd round KOs.
LargeMarge: after always hearing "winning and losing does not matter in the LW" there still seems to be something not as announced then . btw 3*120=360; 360/2 = 180. XP Bonus Victory is 40xp if that is added (says manual - but bonus for a draw? never heard of that apart from suggestion). Then I would have 10 too much. I am still somewhat doubtful about formulae in the manual matching actual formulae in game (or the order applied... it might make a difference). I won't exclude that I miss something here, though.
Know what makes me somehow sad? If there are those boni for win/lose then it does actually make sense to beat your opponent by KO and to try to win everything. "Meh!". (Manual says: XP bonus victory : 40 XP, XP bonus victory by KO : 60 XP, XP bonus draw : 30 XP, XP character lost round : 20 XP)
But as said, I am by now really not sure any more what is and what is not applied in the LW.
Read-L-W-Rule: Priority seems to always favour the non-evolved cards with the lowest XP. I saw Hammer and Erpeto I levelled always alternate by 3 constant other cards (and 3 level 5 cards which never showed up): it was always the one that currently had less xp than the other, while those other 3 had less than both. Personally I like the "rise all equally" course. (As for focussing on 4 without any loss, see Open Warehouse: 4 Level-5 Cards, 4 to level => always get those 4)
They must be tweaking things while we play, I noticed that when leveling my eyrik yesterday, i drew him about 20-30 battles in a row, then I didn't get him for like 2 or 3 battles then I again drew him every battle until he was fully leveled and I had around 15 non leveled cards in my deck.
I got the exact same hand 6 times in a row in LW! i have 9 not fully evolved and no vansaar. what are the chances of this?
if i did the math right with 9 cards it is a 0.7% chance of any 1 deck then 6 times in a row is 0.0000000000001%
if there isn't priority i am really really REALLY lucky or unlucky depending on how you look at it

i really dun like the ramdom and sure shot only does so much
im not saying eliminate ramdomness alltogheter, but i dun see why players cant choose if they want to fight with ramdomness or not, i say offer every1 the chance to choose.... SUPPORT NON RANDOM !
