Is there a secret society of players that play faster than the speed of light. I'm not the slowest guy in the world at playing this game but my ave matches take a few min each. By the time I get 80 points in a tourney with out losing one match some person has 266!!! Let me in on the secret please!!

Are you in type two with a star count higher then 26, and a lot of 4/5 stars? People getting the high ranks are either in type 1 or 26stars.
Try to beat a five star with your level 1/2 for max points. Win with at least 1-2pills when you KO the person. Its not about a 2hko, you can actually get more points if you win 3 out of the 4 fights if you don't have high stars.

Use less than 25 stars in ur deck.
Well, play fast, keep a low star deck (sometimes its good to have less than 25 stars for better point values), try to k.o opponents, while saving one extra pill for the bonus. And, if you can win with a level 2 beating a level 5, do that instead of having your level 4 beat your opponents level 5. More points

1 hit, low level quick match, say a level 7 with kolos and the likes going against noobie characters with not leveled up cards. you can sorta see since lower level usually don't worry about soa so its pretty easy going against these bad players or some people could be cheating by say fight 3-4 people winning which gives a head start.
You need a reputation like Keyser Soze (ref. usual suspects) so that when your opponents realize who they are up against they just bail. Happens to me 20, 30 times per tournament.
Seriously though, I've been puzzled about this as well. Last weekend the winner got over 500 points! Scoring a high 27 points per game would require 19 victories in one hour. Assuming even one loss, that's a game every 3 minutes. So my guess is a 1 but more likely 2 turn knockout deck.
Here's an interesting thought - would it be possible to put each tournament winners clans next to their score?
